I'm confused if she filed in December of 2010 why does her 2012 and 2013 income matter?

Also totally use to watch the show but don't any more since my fiance can't stand Abby yelling at the kids. I use to watch when he wasn't home but now that we share the same work schedule there is less time for that.

Because I believe depending on how the bankruptcy is structured, there may be some scheduled repayments for a period of time based on income anticipated. Obviously her repayment situation would have changed drastically if this kind of income and assets were known about.

Thanks. I've never dealt with bankruptcy or ever plan to so the whole thing is foreign to me.

someone with a better memory help me. wasn't there stuff alluded to on the show and reported in the media over the course of the show that asserted one of the reasons melissa and abby were so close was due to some kind of financial help or guidance melissa (and I think the wealthy new hubby) provided abby with? I don't remember the details but I remember something about it.

if that is the case then it could get interesting to see if they get entangled in this mess (or if any of the other die-hard devoted moms are somehow involved). god help them if any of them used their kids to somehow shelter/hide some of these assets-they could be facing allot more charges than aiding and abetting in bankruptcy fraud.

I remember this too. It was one of the Moms gossiping to the others (or to the camera). They said that Abby almost went under but Melissa bailed her out financially. It was a long time ago so it may have been before the bankruptcy. There are many ways this transaction could have happened. Some of it could be a tax-free personal gift to Abby. Or it could be for "pre-paid" private dance lessons. It could get sticky if Melissa is called in to testify against Abby.

Surely not. Abby will no doubt save her tears for her pillow and accept responsibility for her own decisions, that is after all how she trains her dance students to approach life.
