Dance Moms - anyone still watching?

My kids watch Dance Moms everyday on Lifetime Rewind everyday and yesterday the episode was the one where Abby's dog died and there was a scene in her kitchen and I saw a few Mickey things. Also, Abby has a vacation home in Orlando so I bet she is a Disney fan

The guy who made the video has other Disney parodies that got millions of views on YouTube. It will be kind of interesting to see how many views this one gets with the kids in it.

I think they're cute parodies, but the extra scenes are a little weird. I'd rather just see the song.

Has anyone seen Abby's new show ? What do you guys think of it ? So now she has 3 shows total !!

abby's studio rescue??? I passed on it because any advise she offers other than a studio owner getting their own tv show would be total b.s. "dance moms" debuted in 2011, abby had already filed for bankruptcy on the aldc in 2010 (she reported it was due to "waning customer interest" in the studio) and it still took her until the end of 2013 to pay off the studio creditors. not exactly the best business person for a failing studio owner to take advice from imho:rolleyes1

I love Todrick Hall! He is an incredibly talented man; I am always amazed by both his own performances and his creativity behind the scenes. My favorite project he has done is the Wizard of Ahhs featuring Pentatonix. It's incredible!

In the comments section of the music video clip, people were saying that Chloe no longer is a member of the ALDC, but she still is on contract with the tv show. So...at non-tv show ALDC events/activities, Chloe wouldn't be there, but competitions, etc. for "Dance Moms" she would be there. Not sure if this is true, but that's what others were saying.

This is what I've heard as well. It was the same situation with Kelly's girls, which would explain why Abby has been so determined to get rid of all three girls.

Saw blip in Tv last nite that Abby is engaged to a thirty something guy. The announcers kept calling her a cougar. She talked about her new book & the lawsuit against Kelly.

I watched the last episode with my daughter yesterday and I did notice that Abby told the studio owner that she went through financial trouble and had to fight back to correct things

Bringing this up to see if anyone watched the episode from last night. I was laughing throughout the show at all the Moms!

I watched. I used to love this show, but it has gotten really crazy. Not that I think it was completely "real" to begin with but, in my opinion, it has gotten waaaaay over the top. Mackenzie is not a pop star. Auditioning dancers from all over the country and assembling them on a team does not make YOU (Abby Lee) an amazing dance teacher. And not exactly related, but sort of.. Don't even get me started on Raising Asia. Oy.

I watched it during the wee hours of this morning. I just don't understand why she sets her original team up to fail.... They've been with her through thick or thin. The new obnoxious Christy & her little one Sarah really need to go. After 3 shows she's already on my last nerve. I'm glad I DVR the show so I can fly through some of the stuff!! Did you notice how Abby got her plug in for her summer show. Then Raising Asia is a whole "what were they thinking".... But you knew she would turn up somewhere.

I think there is some truth to challenging the original team, but I don't think it is going to work--with so many teens on the new team, they are just more capable than the younger kids--body changes, more years of experience--it is all going to tell. That is one of the reasons kids compete within age groups. The new Christy?!? Oh good grief! She makes Abby look line St Theresa!!!! That woman needs to go far far away. Too bad her holierthanthou attitude is going to harm her daughter. Raising Asia I didn't watch--we didn't get home from dance until just before 10 last night so I watched the DVRed Dance Moms. I really don't have any interest in watching the Honey ****oo of children's dance.

I don't watch it. What was a cute show about dancing girls has turned into institutional child abuse by Abby Lee and Lifetime. It's not right.

I watched. The brawl had to of been staged. There is no way that Abby would have allowed that and NOT called the police, etc, otherwise. A punch is worse than a slap and Abby called the police and sued Kelly with that incident.

I agree, the show is losing it's original intention. I didn't mind drama with the moms but now it's getting to be too much. And all the fluffing of Mackenzie...pop star?! REally?!? Come on.

I also watch Raising Asia (I was bored!) and it was sort of entertaining. She is destined to become a trainwreck I'm sure. I feel so bad for the little sister, Bella, who gets no time or attention from her own mother.

Christy seems so self entitled. It seems likes she thinks her daughter and I are owed the world.

I agree Asia could be a star but I think the way she is currently headed is a train wreck. The way she is dancing and being allowed to run the show just spells trouble.

I do feel sad for her sister but an thankful that at least one parents sees what is happening and trying to do the best for the sister. Sadly not many dads(who have a child whose life is all about becoming a star) would care so much. This might be due to our family going through a situation but I would in no way allow my 8 year old dance with a whip or have adult back up dancers or any dancers she whips. That's just too much for me.

Oh! I didn't even know Dance Moms was back on! Thanks guys, watching it now!

I agree that it's all for the drama, but I enjoy seeing them all dance. I absolutely LOVED Maddie's performance in Chandeliers.

Sorry, but no way was it in any way appropriate in my book for a child to dance in a flesh body suit. Can you tell she isn't nude? Absolutely. Clearly the wardrobe choice was made for a reason. I simply can't get behind the idea it's appropriate for a child.
