Dance Hall at Boardwalk

Does anyone know about the Dance Hall at the Boardwalk resort? I saw it last week on the boat from Epcot to the Studios. It is for decoration or is there dancing and if so what kind? We love to dance!

We went on a week night in March. The place was fairly empty at 10:00pm. Another couple and ourselves had the ENTIRE dance floor to ourselves and the DJ did requests. They played MTV videos and did eighties and nineties. Asked for swing and they played Christine Aguilara's Candy Man. Hope this helps.
