Has anyone been there? My husband and son are HUGE miami dolphins fans and I am wondering if it is worth the expense to take them there for dinner. We are staying on Interstate drive the night before we leave for our cruise. Originally I was thinking of keeping it really cheap and just picking up grinders for dinner but now I am wondering if this is a "don't miss" for a dolphin fanatic? DS will be ten a the time btw. (don't want a place that is not kid friendly)

We ate there on our last trip. I do not remember what we had, but I remember that it was very good. I don't know anything about football or what a grinder is, so maybe someone else can help you more. Sorry.

Grinders are a northeastern term for Submarine sandwiches or deli sandwhiches :)

But thanks for the link, I will keep checking there until we go in December!

The food at Dan Marino's is good, expect to pay $8 for a burger, $15 for pork chops, $13 for chix breast, etc. As for the atmosphere, when you walk in, there are various pictures of Marino and the team as well as a pic of his family. You can buy Marino tee shirts, hats, shot glasses, etc. at the front counter. Other than that, nothing terribly special. It is located at the Pointe of Orlando, a pretty cool shopping area and movie theatre. You also need to pay for parking to enter this shopping area. If you are on a budget, there are plenty of places to eat as this will add up.
