Dan Brown "Deception Point"

So I just read "Deception Point" and I loved it! literally couldn't put it down... Thought it was as good as Davinci Code.... I also thought it would be an awesome movie... Anyone have any opinions?

Loved it! I'm finally reading Angels and Demons and I think I'm liking it better than DeVinci Code. I enjoyed Digital Fortress too...maybe like Deception Point a tad better the DF. He sure knows how to keep you turning the pages!

I wonder if he has anything else in the works?

When is your next novel coming out?

Because my novels are so research-intensive, they take a couple of years to write. My next novel will be another Robert Langdon adventure (picking up, in fact, where The Da Vinci Code left off). Currently, there is no release date scheduled because the book is not yet near completion.

I heard the next one is about the Free Masons in early america. I saw it over on answer.com but it was yet untitled last time I looked. I have digital fortress at home but I haven't started it yet. I guess I better get cracking, I read all of Deception point in 2 sittings!

DH and I bought Angels and Demons and the Davinci Code the same time. My MIL had taken DD for the weekend and DH and I went out to dinner on a friday night after dropping her off and then stopped at the bookstore, ended up buying both and then renting some movies. We headed home and literally spent the whole weekend reading the books (DH read Angels and Demons first and I read Davinci Code and then we switched) I think we maybe watched one of the five movies, we were so hooked and we didn't leave the house the entire weekend until it was time to pick DD up Sunday night . He definently knows how to intrigue his readers

I think I agree with you actually! I really didn't like Davinci Code as a movie because I thought the casting was all wrong except for Teabing

I loved Angels and Demons too, The ending will blow you away! I thought it was way better then Davinci Code
