Dallas Area - Canton Meet???

My sister from Lubbock will be bringing her tour bus to Dallas for a Shopping Weekend Nov 1-3. On Saturday (Nov 2nd) they will be headed to Canton. She usually has plenty of extra room on the bus for extra passengers from the Dallas area. I meet them very early in the morning at their hotel (usually in North Dallas off I635) and we stop in Mesquite at the Hwy 80 Walmart to pick up people from that end of town.

Anyone interested in going? The hours are usually about 7am - 4pm so it's a pretty full day.

My sister can probably get extra rooms at the hotel for anyone at their group rate. Let me know if you need information on that.

I am in Houston. My grandmother and aunt live in Longview and we make it a day trip from there. We used to stay overnight there but my grandmother sold her RV thing. Would you be willing to meet my family so that they will know that my Disney friends aren't complete and total freaks?

Not a problem, I'll have several family members along too. Usually just my twin sister (the one from Lubbock) and my sister that lives in Rowlett, but there might be more.

We'd talked about trying to spend the night out there before but never did. The hotels are hard to get and expensive for what they are. My sister doesn't even try to get them, just stays in Dallas and drives it.

I haven't been in awhile, I'm sure there are even more pavilions etc so the weather won't matter as much as it used to.

I'm positively green with envy. I'll be sitting in my office twiddling my thumbs thinking about ya'll.

Maybe I should plan to go on Sunday? Don't buy everything in case I can work it out.

Maybe we need a preview trip in October We could do that on a Sunday. Sometimes I've ordered things so it's nice to know you'll be back the next month.
