Dale & Thomas Free Popcorn??

I ordered the free bag of popcorn about 3 weeks ago and they charged me credit card but I haven't received my bag yet. As anyone else received theirs? Just checking.

I ordered mine on 10/16 and have not received mine yet. My card hasn't been charged yet, either. I went to the website a few days ago and found this message:

We just got ours last week. I have to say, I was extremely disappointed in it. My homemade is better. There were a lot of unpopped kennels as well.

We got ours last week also. After all the hype, we were really excited to try it. The whole family agreed that it wasn't as good as Great American Popcorn which we just LOVE! Oh well, guess that's why they send out free samples - so people can try it.

Super Target sells it - as well as World Market, it doesn't seem that much different in price than the free ones. I wish I'd gotten in last year, when the popcorn had no S&H fee! I did do a demo of it and loved it -- but I agree, lots of unpopped kernels.

My sister & I both ordered on 10/1. Both our cards were charged She received hers in the middle of October - it was REALLY good! No unpopped kernels or anything. Mine hasn't come yet (& I ordered first ). Maybe they're rushing out the newer catch-up orders, so the kernels have been unpopped?

ITA...I am glad it was free popcorn, because I was disappointed, and sadly will not be ordering from them. Very poor quality IMO.
Mine came last Wed also.

I agree about the poor quality. I ended up throwing away half a bag because it was all crumbles. I won't be ordering from them.

Maybe it depends on the flavor you are getting? Mine was GREAT! I got the chocolate drizzle and I loved it so much I made DH go buy some from the store near his job. And I just saw they are building one in my mall!!!

We got our sample and I agree that we also had lots of broken popcorn and unpopped kernels. I felt like they put the "dregs" into the free sample bags, because I can't believe anybody would pay the prices they charge if that's the quality of all their stuff. I thought the flavors were okay, but I won't be ordering from them.

That was the most expensive free popcorn I ever paid for. Only one unpopped kernel it was just like pictured but $2.79 for that little bag.

Don't let the freebie fool you on the quality though. My DH just brought home the biggest best popped bag from the store- We loved the taste and had to have the fresh stuff- It is HUGE and COVERED in the chocolate. blows anything I have seen before away. I do think they must send out the crumbs in those free bags....

My sisters free bags (which arrived last months - about 2 weeks after ordering) were light, fluffy, and absolutely drenched in the toppings - some of the best popcorn I've ever had. It was equal in quality to what you got in the D&T store (which is what we hoped for).

I just hope that when my bags arrive, they are the same quality as the bags that my sister received and not what you guys seem to be getting now. I would be too disappointed!

In my free bag I had a kernel or two covered with chocolate- In the bag that dh bought there are clumps! of about 5 or 6 kernels covered in chocolate.. how do I know? you may be asking .... well I just had some for breakfast!

The freebie is their marketing tool...It should have comperable quality to what you would recieve in a regular order. I would never order from them due to my sample and apparent inconsistant quality as seen in this thread.

Last year they did charge the S/H fee as well, I paid it last year and the popcorn was good.

This year it was crumbs in both bags of the chocolate and lots of unpopped kernels. The peanut butter white chocolate was better, but still I can't believe the quality compared to the price.
