To Walt Disney & whom it may concern: You are all
great!


I have been visiting Disney World in Orlando since I
was 4 years old.
Almost every year for over 20 years while my
Grandparents were alive and retired to Tavares
Florida.

But today is my big 40th birthday and we had a great
day today Saturday January 26, 2008 at the Disney
Animal Kingdom.

I wanted to share something that just made our
experience unforgettable!

My friend Shena Dickson and I John M. Henry had
enjoyed the morning in the park riding Everest and
looking for hidden Mickeys in Asia and along the jeep
safari.

We were trying to find a hidden trail that our Mickey
mouse doll
& amazing high tech receiver had told us about. And
we were looking for a shaded rock that you can see
through that highlights animals on the Big Bilbao Tree
in the center of Park, I read about on the internet
tips. We asked a camera man coming from Asia to
Africa and he didn't know but was nice.

Coming "out of Africa", pun whoops, we saw a cast
member with trading Pins and a big smile and ask her
if she knew where the secret trail was or the rock
where you could see the tree through it was?

She turned out to be Illiana from Puerto Rico here on
the college program. I guess maybe it was an unusual
request.

She not only took us there telling us all about the
amazing animals along the way but stayed with us for
almost two and a half hours of just mind blowing time
keeping us enchanted with her vast knowledge of the
park and the details of the places we visited. We knew
she was with the million dreams program but just
through she was so much more knowledgeable than we
could imagine. And we had no idea that we would be in
for such a treat.

We went to the 4-D movie in the big tree while she
waited for us. It was the best 4-D every ! really and
I have been to Muppets at MGM, Mikey & Donalds show at
the Magic Kingdom, and some others.

Then we headed across the park to the dinosaur ride,
the old countdown to extinction by Mc donalds. She
explained so much of the history of the Dinosaur land
and how the rides came to be to save the mom and pop
business there, that had grown up around the dig site.
Too cool.
We would have never known about the plants in the area
being what may have been at the time of the dinosaurs
or that the T-rex was a cast of the most complete
skeleton ever found, and had been cast from the bones
on loan from the Smithsonian Institute.

Then after the Dinosaur ride Illiana took us into the
control tower to see how the ride is operated and the
amazing sensitive hydraulic system on the million
dollar cars. We would have never guessed how the
magic was done after just one ride. the operator in
the control tower was very nice and even gave us a
close up of the riders getting scared in the finale
scene. After that Illiana gave us an unexpected gift
of our picture while we were getting scared by the
Dinosaurs in the finale scene. The look on Shena's
face in the photo reminded me of how she looked after
our first kiss. : )

It was getting to be almost 4:30 and the park closed
at 5pm.
Illiana walked us up to the Nemo musical and gave us a
tip to sit in the upper section so we could see the
characters as they came into the audience.

We were so pleased to have met Illiana and she was
truly a dream come true to have someone so animated
and articulate share their intimate knowledge of the
Disney Animal kingdom with us. We just couldn't thank
her enough.

We just wanted to share how much we appreciate and are
grateful for this outstanding experience that we will
treasure for a lifetime.
