You are so right about the fresh fruit and veggies! I really have no good reason why I am not...they just don't sound good to me right now. Normally, I love fresh fruits and veggies...I think TOM is approaching because all I am craving is salt and sugar...I will eat some veggies for dinner. Thank you for all of the support! :Pinkbounc
 
Well, today is over! I am so tired...it is hot! :sunny: I am ready for the fall, anyone else? It seems like every year it gets hotter and hotter! Anyways, I am going to work out tonight. I am going to try to do 4 miles in an hour on the treadmill. I need to "train" for Disney World. I like walking, too! I just got my Birkenstock's that I ordered from eBay. At the mall, they cost 110.00, on eBay I did a Buy it Now for 45.00! I am soooo excited! I am finally buying stuff for our trip! We have been planning this trip for over 2 years. We were supposed to go the summer of 2003, but we got engaged and could only afford to honeymoon at Disneyland, not Disney World. Then, we were supposed to go December 2004. Then I got pregnant and my doctor said the baby's due date was December 6! So, here we are finally able to go! Two years later! It is so worth it, because we can afford it, instead of spending every penny we had, like we were last year. I am going to see if we can make it a tradition to go at the beginning or end of December every year because all of our birthdays bunch up during that time-Maddie in Nov, Brent in Dec and my birthday is in January (go figure).
Sorry that was so long.

Anyways, this is what I ate today-

Breakfast: 1 cup Raisin Bran Crunch & 1/2 cup FF milk & 1 Viactiv Multi-vitamin & 1 Viactiv Calcium supplement

Lunch: 1 Yukon gold potato with 1/2 cup 99% FF vegetarian chili & 2 Tbsp. FF sour cream & 1 Viactiv calcium supplement

Snack: Fruit snacks

Dinner: Subway salad w/turkey, tomato, bell pepper, and sweet onion sauce
1 small bag BBQ Baked Lays and a diet Pepsi

Snack: 100-calorie Right Size Shortbread Sandies packet

Exercise: 4 miles on treadmill

Good morning! I am going to eat breakfast in a few...I am going to have some cereal and some grapes. I am soooo tired. Maddie, poor thing, has a cold now! She has a runny nose, is coughing and sneezing! I feel like a bad mommy! This is the first time that she has been sick. She had an earache, now a cold. I have no idea what to do...she has no temperature and is still eating. I gave her some infant tylenol for cold and cough. She is playing in her play pen right now. She seems happy. I just feel bad that she is sick. :sad1: I have sooo much cleaning to do this weekend. Maddie's room is a mess! I am going through all of her stuff and giving some of her old clothes to my frined who is having a girl in October. Maddie is sooooo tall! She went from a 6-9 months size to 18 months in less than 3 months. She didn't even really wear a 12 months. She must take after her daddy in the height department. BTW-The Children's Place was having a great sale on fall clothes...got Maddie a ton of clothes for cheap! Anyways....

I hope that everyone here has a wonderful weekend and stick to their weight loss plans! :wizard:
 
I am so tempted to step on the scale, but won't! I am only going to weigh myself once a week...so I have to "weight" until Tuesday! I hope I can hold out! :flower:
 

I'm so sorry that Miss Maddie is sick!! As long as she's eating and not running a fever, just treat her symptoms and make sure she stays hydrated.

You are eating so well!! I read your journal to see what you have eaten everyday for ideas!! Hope you don't mind! :goodvibes

Thanks, eeyore! She is starting to feel better, I think...it is hard to tell in a baby, she seems happier! She has been napping for almost three hours!! Thank goodness!!

Here is what I had so far today:


Breakfast: 1 cup honey bunches of oats w/almonds & some apple slices

Lunch: 1 Lean Pocket w/some baby carrots (about 10)

Snack: 100-calorie pack Sandies shortbread cookies

Dinner: LC Beef Pot Roast w/green beans and corn

Snack: 1/2 cup FF Strawberry Cheesecake frozen yogurt

I am having a great day and tonight my parents are visiting so DH and I can go to the gym together! He says he's "fat". PUH-LEESE!! He is not even chubby. He may not be as muscular as he used to be before we got married, but he still looks great and not-at-all fat! Anyways, he had me take pictures of him with his shirt of so he can have motivation. He's nuts. So tonight I am going to do 4 miles in one hour again. :cool1:

hey january!!! i hope you're doing well ...i haven't had a chance to get caught up on your journal yet, but wanted to pop in and say hi and wish you a SUPER weekend of more weight loss!! :)

It's late and I am bored. Took a four hour nap today so I am not tired at all! I have horrible allergies and stupid me took 2 benedryls. :earseek: Good thing my parents showed up when they did, b/c I almost passed out from the drowsiness. Maddie would have been stranded in her crib. My DH mixed the drowsy and non-drowsy into one box when we went to Sacramento. I can't tell the difference. Anyways, I am WIDE :hyper: awake and hungry. But I already ate my limit of calories today, so I am sucking down a diet Coke with lime. Caffeine has no affect on me it seems. I'm sure the phosphoric acid is eating away at my bones, though. I try to drink more water than soda. Like I will have 1 12 oz can to counteract that I drink 2 bottles of water and I also eat a lot of yogurt and low-fat cheese and take 3 Viactiv calcium supplements a day. I am just rambling! I am soooo wide awake! I might put on a movie or something. Anyways, I will talk to you chicas later! :grouphug:

Good morning, girls! I am ready to start my day! Maddie is still sick, gave her some medicine...she is starting to fall asleep while Brent is giving her a bottle. There are some major fires all around over here. The moon was orange last night...creepy! It was cool last night, so we had the windows open and the smell of smoke from the fires was so strong that I could practically taste it. It made my allergies 10x worse than they already are.

Here's what I have had so far today:

Breakfast: Lean Pocket Ham & Cheddar :crazy2: Yuck. Not my type of flavor.

That's it so far! Talk to you all later! :banana:
 
I am about to eat a snack...some yogurt and a package of the 100-calorie snack packs. I love those! I weigh in on Tuesday and I have a feeling I have not lost a thing b/c I only worked out two times this week. I was going to go last night, but my eyes were killing me from my allergies, they were so puffy! I will try to go to the gym tonight! :teeth:
 
Don't feel too bad about not exercising. I haven't exercised but ONCE!! You have also had a sick baby and have been sick yourself. We'll just have to do better next week!! :flower:
 
I know that I said I would not weigh myself until Tuesday? Well, I couldn't help myself! I just weighed and the scale said I lost 4 pounds! I have lost 11 pounds so far! I am soooo excited! I just got my new "10 pounds" clippie!! :cheer2:
 
I am still on cloud 9 :cloud9: over my weight loss! I have really been trying my hardest to stick with it. I don't think I have tried this hard EVER to lose weight. It is getting easier, though, now that I am getting used to it.

Here is what I have had today:


Breakfast: Lean Pocket

Lunch: LC Oven Roasted Turkey w/mashed potatoes...I added a cup of broccoli

Snack: 1 FF yogurt

Dinner: Chicken sandwich and a salad

Snack: 100 calorie snack pack Shortbread Sandies...yummy!!


I will probably check in again...it is really slow this weekend, not much going on...that is a GOOD thing :Pinkbounc
