**daisy77's (January) Journal:Gotta Lose this Pregnancy Weight**((Comments Welcome!))

Today has been a really busy day! I had a lot of work today. I am sooo glad that I stuck to my good eating habits, instead of breaking down and stopping at Del Taco (which I almost did).
Here's how it went:


Breakfast-1 cup FF yogurt & 1 cup dry cereal

Lunch-LC Spagetti and Meatballs

Snack-Handful of tortilla chips :confused3

Dinner-Chicken sandwich & 1 cup chili

Snack-A piece of toast w/sugar-free jelly

Exercise-2 mile WATP

I could have done better. I stayed in my calorie range;I just should have used them better. Anyways, I better get back to work! Wish me luck tomorrow!
 
Thanks! I am just doing the best that I can, no more excuses! I have lost 2 more pounds, which makes me down a total of 7 pounds for this week! I know that I won't be losing like this every week, but this is exactly what I was "wishing" :wizard: for! I know that having a journal has a lot to do with this weight loss. :cloud9: I have to go find something delicious to eat for breakfast!
 
Congrats on your weight loss! You are really doing great. Yes, the rapid loss will taper off, but the best way to keep it off is by losing 1-2 lbs a week.

And you're right about the journalling, it DOES make it easier! Keep it up!
 

Well, I forgot to eat breakfast. I got off the computer and had to get ready to go to Walmart to go shopping, then had to go to a meeting with my husband and we both got really hungry. I got on my DH's laptop and looked up nutrition values at different restaurants. We both like Wendy's, so I checked there-I decided to get a grilled chicken sandwich w/o sauce and a side salad with 1/2 packet of LF Honey Mustard dressing. The total calories was 500 or somewhere around there. So, I did pretty alright. I will check in with you girlies later!
 
I am going out again tonight. I have no idea what we are going to eat for dinner. If we end up going out, I will have a salad and some grilled chicken. I hate going out all the time. My DH is a manager at a retail store AND we own our own business, so we are either taking people out to lunch or dinner OR we are being taken out to lunch or dinner. We are always going out! I shouldn't complain, a year ago we didn't even have enough meney to go have pizza and a movie once a month for our date night. So, I am grateful. :blush: It is just hard to lose weight when you eat out almost everyday.
 
Well, I am back from going out. We got sandwiches at Blimpie's. So it was not so bad after all. I am so excited that my day went well. I might go to bed early tonight because I stayed up until 3:00am last night. I am REALLY sleepy!
Here's what I ate today:

Breakfast: none, forgot to eat :confused3

Lunch: Wendy's Grilled Chicken Sandwich (no sauce) & side salad w/LF honey mustard dressing

Dinner: Blimpie Turkey Sub 6" on white w/tomato, lettuce, onions, mustard, salt & pepper and a bag of Baked Lays BBQ chips, diet Pepsi :teeth:
-this was a very good sandwich!!

You are really doing awesome - congrats on those weight losses!!!! BRAVO

It is hard when you eat out a lot. I've found that it's harder for me to eat out now than it ever was - probably because I didn't care what I ate and assumed that what I was eating was fine. Thank goodness to those restaurants that have nutritional info. I get upset with the ones that don't. And those are usually my most favorite restaurants too :)

Good morning! I am still really tired, but little Maddie was crying in her crib. I literally need my beauty rest. I have only been getting 5-6 hours of sleep a night. We are soooo busy and my DH has a 40+hour a week job, on top of owning a business and having a little girl and a house to care for....I am at my wit's end! I need a vacation! WDW is still 3 1/2 months away! I can hang on that long. I just need to figure out a way to get more sleep! I read that lack of sleep slows your metabolism and other not-so-great things to our bodies. Well, I will try to fit in a nap sometime today OR go to bed REALLY early. I should eat breakfast, but I am not even hungry. Talk to you girlies later!!
 
I'm back-I think that I am going to have some Nutri-Grain frozen waffles w/light syrup for breakfast. I will probably have a Lean Pocket or frozen dinner for lunch and for dinner, probably another fromzen dinner or rice and chicken. I hope today is a great day for everyone!!
 
Hi January! :wave: I just read all of your journal and wanted to say hi. We have a lot in common. I have a DH who eats junk all day long and never gains an ounce. I gained 55 lbs when I was pregnant, and have just kept putting it on ever since. I am 5'3" and weigh 190. I'd ultimately like to weigh around 130, but my goal for now is 140. We are going to Disney in September (staying at pop) and I plan on making good choices for breakfast, cereal bars and fruit and then have good lunches and dinners. I'm going to just try to make sensible choices with my meals so I can have all the yummy desserts on the dining plan. Oh and I'm also trying to eat small meals often. I'm really not eating meals, just breaking it up. Anyway, i wanted to say hi. I'm just joining hte WISH boards, so I'm goign to go start my own journal. "See" you around.
 
Hi, christinadei! I will check out your journal! Having a journal on here really helps a lot! You will love it!

So, far I have been sticking to my plan...my husband came home with a huge basket he got at a meeting. It is full of yummy chocolate! I had to put it in the laundry room, because I don't plan on going in there today, LOL! I am hankering for that yummy caramel and chocolate covered pretzel that I spotted in there. WHY does he do this? He loves to torture me! I am kidding, I really love him, he just needs to not bring stuff like that home, it is hard for me to resist! :bitelip:

I was so excited that we were switching from Pop to WL. After thinking about it all day yesterday, I decided it is just not worth the money. So this morning I switched AGAIN to Port Orleans French Quarter. It is right in the middle. It is 500.00 more than what we were spending to stay at Pop. I told my husband that I decided not to stay WL and he seemed sad. I told him that next year when we go with Maddie for her 2nd birthday we can stay at the Poly or GF. This trip is just us two and it is our first trip to WDW, so I doubt we will even be in the room that much. Next year we will be taking lots of breaks and naps for Maddie. So, I would rather spend the extra $$ for next year.

Anyways, I will check back in later, ladies! Enjoy the sweltering heat :sunny: !

Hi, everyone! I had a very long day! My little girl has an earache, so she has occupied a lot of my time and energy today!

Here is what I ate:

Breakfast- 2 Nutri-grain Eggo waffles

Lunch- LC Beef Pot Roast

Dinner- LC Fettucine Alfredo w/Chicken and Broccoli


So far, that is it...I will edit if I decide to add anything.

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, and sold it to someone else! :teeth: I hope that Miss Maddie gets to feeling better soon!

You are eating so well!! I have a lot of trouble in the evenings. Can't seem to shake that evening snack. You are doing great!! :flower:
 
Thanks, Karyn...Maddie is sleeping now. She will probably wake up now that I "said" that. I hope your day went well! The eating is hard, but I have to do it! I am soooo tired of being overweight!

I will try to workout tonight, it all depends on Maddie. I want to start walking more to get ready for our trip in November. When we went to Disneyland last year, I was pregnant. My legs, ankles and feet were KILLING me! It ruined my time there. I wanted to go back to the hotel everyday after noon. I don't want that to happen again. PLus, I can kill two birds with one stone by walking...lose weight and condition my legs and feet for all that walking!

You are doing really well and being so disciplined about your eating. I have such a hard time because I'm hungry all the time. But I've been allowing myself snacks and they say that eating often is great for your metabolism. Anyway, you don't seem to be eating much, you may want to eat a little more. What I learned with weight watchers is that you have to eat enough, but not too much. For me anyway, I always did better if I ate towards the top of that range. So just make sure you are getting enough calories! Snack on some nuts or something to get some good fat. And stay away from that basket ;) My husband is just as bad. We'll go to bed to watch TV and he'll bring a handfull of snacks, chocolate and all kinds of good smelling stuff and eat it right in front of me. So not right! So not fair too, that he's so dang skinny and eats all that junk and if I look at it, i gain weight.

Hi! I am doing great! I have been planning our AR's for our trip...I am soooo excited!! I have never been so excited for November!

Here is what I have eaten today so far:

Breakfast- 1 cup raisin bran crunch & 1/2 c FF milk

Snack- Fruit snacks

It is almost lunch time...I have no idea what to eat, maybe a potato w/99% fat-free chili? Yummy! I will talk to you ladies later!!

Mmm, I love Raisin Bran Crunch! Be sure to start including some fresh fruits and veggies with your meals! They are a very important part of your new healthy lifestyle.
