**daisy77's (January) Journal:Gotta Lose this Pregnancy Weight**((Comments Welcome!))

Well, I decided to workout. :banana: Maddie is in her playpen playing and the house is quiet. My DH hooked up his XBOX and unhooked the DVD player and my big chest can't fit behind the entertainment center, so it looks like I have to do a tape. I am going to do the 2 mile WATP tape. I love Leslie Sansone. She is soooo cute! Well, talk to you girls later!

Welcome to WISH!! Everyone here is so fabulous!! I am like you,trying to lose that baby weight! It is amazing just how easy it is to gain during pregnancy! (and now - how hard it is to lose!) Your daughter is precious! She is just a few months older than my daughter Haley - who is almost 6 months! They are sooooo worth the weight gain!!


Congrats on starting your turnaround and your journal! We are all here to cheer you on~~!
 
I really, really like Leslie Sansone, too! I have the 3 mile and it's great. You don't think you are getting a good workout until you get finished and can't move anymore! You are making very good food choices. It's good to set an eating cutoff time, also. I try to stop eating at 5PM. Anything after that, and I can't sleep!!
 
I love having a journal on here! I wake up excited to see if anyone commented! You ladies rock! I woke up this morning and I just had to weigh myself. I lost 3 pounds! I know it is probably water, but still it was is three pounds out of my body!! I am going to eat some yogurt and cereal for breakfast and lunch is at Applebee's w/some friends. They have a WW menu there, so I will order from that! C-ya'll laters!

Congrats on the weight loss! And another kudos for exercising at night. I know how hard that is - if I don't do it right after work, I pretty much make up excuses to not do it at all... :confused3


Blue Bunny makes FF Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream? :scared1: That is dangerous information. I hope I never see it, that will be bad news for me...

Keep it up, your positive attitude is so nice and will help you succeed!

Sounds like you are doing great Daisy!! I know what you mean about the diet coke. I finally stopped drinking caffineated (sp??) beverages because if I skipped a day I would get an awful headache. Caffeine free 6mos now!!

Maddie is a doll. I also am working off some baby weight. 20lbs from DD(13) 20lbs from DD(8) and 20lbs from DD(2) :).

Thanks ladies, for all of the encouraging words! Yes, there is a Blue Bunny FF Strawberry Shortcake ice cream and it is sooooooo yummy! I got it at Walmart. I think it is new because I usually just get the FF Vanilla because I never saw any other flavors. They also have Sugar Free Rocky Road and a few other flavors that look delicious. At 100 cals a serving and no fat, you really can't go wrong! I've been out at the mall most of the day. I ate at Applebee's for lunch and had the WW Mesquite Chicken Salad and for dessert I had WW Chocolate Raspberry Cake. The salad was ok, I wish I had ordered the WW Tango Chicken Sandwich but I knew we were going to have dessert, so I go the salad because it has a lot less calories. From there I was at the mall shopping and walking with my friend who also has a new baby. I was there for 3 1/2 hours walking, so I count that as my exercise. I didn't even get anything at Dairy Queen, when we stopped there. I just got a diet Pepsi. I will do my Pilates tonight after we get back from doing our cell phone inventory for the week at our business partner's house (they will be cooking dinner and I have no idea what they are making-I will be careful, though). I may not journal what I ate tonight because it may be really late! If not I will catch up with ya'll tomorrow!

If it wasn't for keeping a journal and having accountability and getting encouragment, I would have already "cheated". Thank you so mcuh ladies, I really appreciate the "hugs" :grouphug: !

Hey!! I had the mesquite chicken salad too - w/o the dressing though...:) pretty bland but kept me at low points.
Great job on the weight loss...doesn't it feel great and encouraging to see that? Hope you have a great night and get that Pilates video in!
 
Kinda late, but had to check in! I just got back from our business partner's house where they had a pototo bar. I had a plain potato w/a scoop of vegetarian chili and some watermelon and pineapple on the side. It was good. Got hungry around 8pm so I had my Slim Fast bar. Here's my whole day:
Breakfast: 1 cup yogurt & 1 cup dry cereal

Lunch: Applebee's WW Mesquite Chicken Salad & a Chocolate Raspberry Cake slice

Dinner: 1 potato w/chili & some watermelon and pineapple.

Snack: Slim Fast Optima Iced Lemon bar

Well, it's too late for a workout video...have to babysit in 5 hours! Everyone have a great sleep and I will check in tomorrow! :banana:
 
Good job on the potato bar staying away from all the high fat stuff!

I have really gotten into baked potatoes lately. They are good for you IF you don't smother them with the wrong things (just like I used to do!!). Sounds really good with the veggie chili. I might have to try that! Have a super weekend! :flower:
 
It was hard to stay away from all the delicious toppings. Ijust had to remind myself how hard I worked to get to where I am and one meal w/too much bad stuff might ruin it. The potatoes were soooo good! I guess there is one thing that makes living in Idaho great ;)

yummy - I love potatoes!! Great willpower staying away from all those toppings....I do the same thing when I want some fries or something...I think if how far I have gotten already and that I desperatley want to go further and those fries will definitely go right to my thighs!
 
Have you tried sweet potatoes? I used to think they were so gross, but now I LOVE them! I just bake them and sprinkle them with Butter Buds. No other toppings needed! Keep it up, your willpower is very inspiring!
 
Well, once again a VERY long day!! I am so tired, so I will make it quick

Breakfast: 1 cup FF yogurt & 1 cup cereal

Lunch: Salad w/FF honey mustard, a bowl of chili and a raspberry lemonade from Quizno's

Dinner: Chicken Fiesta Salad w/o dressing/used salsa as a dressing, a bowl of tortilla soup and a bite of Kahula Ice Cream Pie all from On the Border.

We were out literally all day! We babysat for some friends and my DH and the kids had a McDonald's breakfast and I ate my typical breakfast. We ate with some friends for lunch at Quizno's and met up w/more friends for dinner at On the Border. It was fun! I did not have time to exercise today...will get back on it tomorrow. Have a great weekend everyone!!
 
Hey, everyone! I am starting Day 5! I am soooo excited! I lost another 2 pounds, so I am down 5 pounds so far! I am so thrilled! I have been working very hard and have been so busy that I have not really had time to snack or just sit around on the couch doing nothing. I am so glad that I have such wonderful support here on the WISH boards! You girls are the BEST! I have not eaten breakfast and it is almost lunch...so I guess I better plan something good. I am thinking a Lean Pocket w/some fruit or veggies! Talk to you girlies later! Have a wonderful Saturday! :banana: :banana: :banana:
