I wasn't sure if there was a post I should be asking in this in or not, so if I shouldn't have started this new one I'm sorry in advance.
I've already made my ADRs and just found out from my doctor that I've developed a dairy allergy and now need to avoid dairy to cut down on some of my medical issues. This is a new allergy on top of my allergy to red food dyes, so I emailed the special diets email address I got from the Disney dining website and the response I got back was to add the allergy to my reservations. That's all they said aside from mentioning it at the restaurant if I'm not approached about it and giving me a short list of counter services locations that can accommodate allergies.
Is that all I need to do, just call and have it noted on my reservations? In the past I've been sent paperwork to fill out and send back, but maybe things have changed. Since this allergy is new to me I want to try my best to make sure I don't get sick while in the parks. I already have the other allergy listed on my reservations, but I'll for sure call and add this one.
Any info from people with diary allergies or intolerances would be really helpful.
