Daily Scooter Rental?

Our DSIL is going to need a scooter for park days. He's unable to walk long distances due to ankle and knee surgeries resulting from injuries when he was a police officer, and other medical problems. I kinda remember seeing scooters for rent at the MK but now I'm not sure. Can he rent a scooter for the day at each of the parks? Any idea how much it costs? TIA

Yes he can rent from the parks for day to day, but there is limited availability. I'm not sure the cost but people have reported that you can rent one from an outside company for a lot less than at Disney and then they have the scooter for the whole trip, not just the parks. That is the way I would recommend going.

If you look on the other section of the DisAbillities forum there is a sticky thread about temporary and permanent disabillities that has info about rental companies and other info about getting around with a scooter or wheelchair.
