Daily room service for DVC in DL?

My family is going to use our developer points in DL next month at the Grand Californian. Will we still get daily house (Mouse)keeping service since there is no DVC there yet?

Thats what we thought. Thanks for the confirmation. Thats a trade off i guess for no kitchen facilities, which i would prefer.

I'll bet this has been discussed before at some point, but for what it's worth-- we don't really like daily Mousekeeping service (or daily cleaning services at any hotel). I don't like worrying about when I'm supposed to be out of the room so that I'm not in their way, don't like worrying about picking up after the kids every day so that the room is cleanable condition, etc. It just feels like a big intrusion. The standard amount of cleaning, trash/towel, etc. in a normal DVC stay is just perfect for us.

It's especially true on longer vacations! One time we took a wonderful 12 day trip to Maui (my wife was writing a book on that trip, very relaxing) and the biggest complaint I can offer about the trip was the constant presence of very helpful and friendly, but intrusive, housekeeping staffers.

One thing I just remembered - GC also has automatic turndown. I stayed there once and wanted to take a nap before going out in the evening and they were banging on my door (I had the deadbolt on). So put the privacy sign out if you don't want to be disturbed!
