Good Morning, All!

Christy, you are definitely in my thoughts today. You ARE a saint.

We had two 1500$ yard sales after my dad passed, But to walk into his house you'd have never known he was a pack rat - neat as a pin. But there was stuff stashed EVERYWHERE, it was just well organized. PLUS the salvation army brought a truck and we made many loads to the dump. My mother in law was even worse, she just had a smaller house! I AM CLEANING OUT NOW! (Campers at Wannacropit - there's scrappy stuff coming for you!)

Sunny and 20 here today. Still no snow. But DH has happily gone skiing and I? I am happily staying home!!!

lay out new puzzle
make birthday cards 4 done
finish cleaning off scrap table
generate more giveaways
make dinner - Beef Barley soup in the crock pot
watch Holmes on Homes and Holmes Inspection
not on the agenda, but done anyway
load of white laundry
cleaned a bathroom
took down the towel racks & started stripping wallpaper in guest bath

So winter finally hit here, it is cold!

Balance checkbook
review and efile our taxes, Josh's are done!
vacuum house
finish letters
Dinner burgers and berries

Cleaning out must be the topic of the day..... we have been at it too. DD finished stripping the wallpaper yesterday in my room, looks so big and bare!! Gave tons of stuff to Big Brothers when their truck came around last Thurs - so much more to clean out.

Really wanted this all done so the house could go on the market, but afraid that might have to wait til next year. By then everything will be done - 100% sure of that. Also means I keep working - post retirement - for one more year.

Since I am no longer a consultant, I found out I can sell all my excess scrapping supplies at a tag sale which my sil is helping me organize for April vacation. Hoping to sell many other things at that point too - discovered I have too much "stuff." I am sure there are many of us in that category!!!

Off to look at paint today - we are having the 14 ft stairway walls stripped/painted - have no scaffolding and can't handle heights. A splurge, but worth it.

Caroline, there are pole extenders to paint with, that should help if you don't have access to scoffolding.

DH left early this morning for Daytona. He was so excited about going to the race.

MomE, DD, and I are relaxing at the resort. It's cooler than the past few days, 67 so not really a beach day. Perhaps I will download the rest of my pictures.

Caroline good luck with the painting....smart idea hiring out the hallway, we had a 20' stairway in our CA house...Jim did it all himself, I was scared he'd fall! I of course then finished the rest of the house myself!

Stay warm today Cassey and Linda....we are about 35 and expecting rain/snow mix but nothing stick around

Lisa enjoy the warm weather!

Megan was up at 7, I stayed in bed until 8!!! going to have a PJ day

plan on working on Duo swap (one group) and Sports & more swap

have Megan pick out outfits for HI trip, need to make sure she's got enough!
I'm doing the same this week so we can get any shopping done this next weekend!

Lisa, I hope DH has a great time at Daytona!!!! I only watch bits and pieces of that race since Dale passed in the last lap... I used to watch it from start to finish til then... It's always such a good race..


Have a great time at the resort...it's nice to just chill with some downtime... I'm so ready to go soon... I get to pick up our tickets at the PO tomorrow at 830am!!!!

Race got rained out. DH came back to the resort about 8:30 pm, and went back up this morning. The race had been scheduled for noon today however it got postponed until 7:00 pm. Hopefully the race will go on today.
