Daily Grind, February 16th

I know. Just sucks. :goodvibes

That would be cool to find something awesome in a house. All I have found in this one is 20 year old dog food under the stove and dishwasher.

Well, good news and bad news...good news is, no carpel tunnel, bad news is, no carpel tunnel. So, we don't know what it is. It hurt quite a bit, forget uncomfortable, it HURT. Glad it's over, but I'm not sure where we go from here. I'm going to try harder not to lean on my elbows at my desk, and wear the wrist brace overnight. I liked the doctor, and I needed to follow-up on my diagnosis of MS of many years ago, so I have an appointment next month.

Rachal, sorry to hear about the house, they really should have told you about the fire before you hired an inspector. I'm thinking they need to pay for that inspection, not you.

Jennifer- Mystery pain is no good. Was the dr cute at least? :)

I know its dumb. I was hoping they would but probably not. Just waiting to get our earnest money back. Oh well on to the next I guess. I hate shopping and house shopping is even worse!!

hope they can find out what it is Jennifer!

I second you should get the $$ back Rachal, seems like a like shady to me!

at the gate waiting to board....was checked in and thru security within 15 minutes!!! planes on time!!

Rachael- Sorry to hear about the house but better to find out before you were locked in. We had the same thing happen with a house we were looking at- the inspector found mold all through areas in the walls.

Nancy- Any good jewelry store should have a device that will immediately tell if a diamond is real or not- when I was working in one we had 2 in the store- it was a little black box thing with a needle on the end - when you touched a diamond with the needle it registered.

Jennifer- Hope the find the reason before the pain soon.

Sorcerers of the MK is an awesome game. It is really well done. I played 1 of the instances in each of the 4 areas of the park today and it would have let me play longer but I had other things to do. Also each card has unique properties for battles and it is fun to see what they are.

I know what you mean - I told DH to pick out one & let him handle it. He did great, only this is ours only has one bath but otherwise it is perfect. it was half the amount we were approve for (been here for oer 10 years now)

I didn't even look at the house until week before closing then came in to see how many curtains I needed - I still think I should pull up the carpet but we are waiting until after boys move out unless we decide to paint the floor

Jennifer... keep me posted about the MS.. you know we are dealing with it around here first hand..

I hope they can figure it out so you get some relief soon!!!!

[*]direct my man slave :rotfl2:

I want one of those!!!

Rachal, sorry about the house, but I am a firm believer of things happening for a reason. You definitely don't want to have those issues with the house.

Lisa, you and Megan have fun!
Jennifer, definitely follow up with the dr.
Rebecca, hopefully DH feels better after a day at WDW.

She was adorable, but I don't play for that team ;) She was very much all business until I started talking about kids and she really warmed up and I liked her a lot. I've put off going back because I HATED the first neurologist I saw. Plus, I've been fine.

Didn't know you were dealing with it. It can be very scary. I am very lucky to have only had the one episode and to be honest, after hearing about some recent research, I think it's migraines and from suffering from over 30 years of them.

But, I did get some news today...I've got hypothyroidism. Really a relief - I've been really tired and sluggish lately and was worried I was falling into a deep depression - so glad to hear that those are among the top symptoms! I start my medication tomorrow, hoping for some increased energy by next month! It may take some time to find the right amount I need, but I'm on the right road. And, it turns out that muscle/joint pain and tenderness is also a symptom! So, it could all be the thyroid. Whew...

What a relief that must be for you Jennifer to know what you are dealing with.

A speedy recovery. :)

Jennifer it is good to hear that there is a diagnosis, and thus begins the road to feeling better, and stronger.
Lisa- how is your stomach doing? Any effect of the meds yet - any relief? Have a wonderful trip yourself next week!!
To everyone else - feel better, have wonderful travels, and sweet dreams of trips to come!!!

Sending more :wizard: your way!

Jennifer, DH was dx w/ it 5 years ago.. only had one episode too...but is on daily injections that work great!!!! We lucked into a urgent care dr that was a newbie and was experienced w/ the symptoms... we got to ER and had a ER dork that was an idiot..but the neuro doctor who a nurse talked to looked over the chart and came in and said I want to run this test for confimation.... within 4 hours we had answers because DH was still exhibiting the signs.... Our neuro doctor is the best! We love her!!!

that's good to know Jennifer... we may have a solution even better and have you recovering sooner than later!!!!

I never had to take any meds, luckily. I've let it go on too long without following-up, so I have an appointment on the 1st. Unfortunately, I can't track down my 17 year old MRI, so...I will more than likely have a new one anyway, but it would have been good to have as a comparison.

I'm glad to hear the meds are working for your DH. I have to admit I flipped out a little at the diagnosis, the only thing I knew about MS were Annette Funicello and Richard Pryor. It was a relief to find out not everyone goes that way...
