Daily Grind- 9/28/12

Good moring ladies! Just stopping by to say hello since I haven't made it by lately. We have been crazy busy. Work, softball, soccer, basketball, school, illnesses, etc. I have missed having "me" time on the boards or just scrapping period. I have a few friends coming over to scrap tonight, so I hope to get some things done. They will have to not look too closely at my house though, because I have also been too busy to deep clean
DD2's softball tournament got cancelled for this weekend at the last minute. So after the 10:30 soccer game on Saturday, we might actually go to the zoo as a family since we have an unexpected opening in our schedule! Yeah!!

Had a great night last night to end the regular soccer season.. now on to tournament play!!! I can't believe this season is almost over...and next year will be DS16's last HS season...


Let's see.. it was a very late night...and I think after the craziness of yesterday, I am going to take it slow and just get things done around the house...but I know I have to make a list for Saturday as there are a few things that have to be done by 10AM on Saturday.

Today:

DH up and out the door
reboot laundry (last load in wash, 2 to dry)
ck email/fb/DIS
lunches x 3
dinner menu
grocery/shopping list
strip and winterize beds
boys up and ready
boys to school
await DS16's call/email about being on the homecoming float
run back to school and sign permission slip (may send one in that they can just attach to the school form)sent note in giving permission
small nap this AM
balance ckbk
pay bills ahead of the game this time!
update October schedule (it's looking like a busy, crazy month)
list for Saturday
empty dishwasher/wash what is in the sink
put blankets in reuseable bag for game tonight
pick boys up afterschool
dinner - DH to bring home pizza as we have the homecoming parade before the game

Good Morning!

Sounds like some fun weekends are planned.

I arrived fine in MD. It is hard to see dad this way and I can see that mom won't be able to do this alone t all. I will have to see how we can work out a schedule with all of us kids for the next month or so.

Today is sending time with mom and dad and getting ready for a long night up. Dad is active at night and sleeps most of the day.

I opened a birthday gift he had mom pick up for me. He saw it and thought I would like it and wanted mom to get it for my birthday. It is the last gift he has choosen out for anyone.

what a jerk Rachal.. Good gracious.. it'll cost him about $5.00 to get into the game..and support his child... that stuff sets me off... We go to all of the games we can get to for Dh's son from his previous marriage... I don't go to away games but that is so I have time to scrap...but DH doesn't miss anything... Heck, the younger brothes go with DH to the games...

Nan, I hear ya! He was all set to take them tonight, we are switching off sat football games for cheer, told him weds that he had to pay to get in, DD gets in for free. and then suddenly yesterday he has to work at 4am sat morning..... so? you can still take them and not "lose our on your time" as he is always complaining about when he has to spend time at their activities. I did remind him that I pay for every dance performance I take her too, usually the whole family and freaking parking most of the time!

I did give him a "bill" for half of monthly dance and preschool. and for money still owed for cheer stuff. His response was "if I move I cant afford all this" he is moving to be closer to his gf which will make him further from the girls and their activities (by quite a few miles in the complete opposite direction) He tried to tell me it was so he could get a 2 bd apartment. So do you think I care? Pay up!

I'm not surprised.. just irritated by my weekend plans being cancelled. Now its dance/football game tonight and 2 football games tomorrow. Blah! So much for lazy weekend. His crap doesn't fly with me.

Ya, Dbf is coming straight from his 90 minute commute to the football game.... He doesn't like football.

Something kind of cool. My dads hanging out with chef Robert Irvine. He's doing a resteraunt impossible episode by my dads work.
