Welcome home, Cassey! Hope you and Julia had a wonderful time. Did you get to meet up with Holly yesterday?

I've got today off! Didn't get to sleep in, but it was nice to not have to rush around and get ready. Was thinking of going to Garden in the Woods today, but it's a Free Fun Fridays location so it will probably be mobbed, maybe we'll go after lunch.

Today:

Wash towels
Put away other laundry (why is this so difficult?)
Pulled pork in crock pot
Maybe finish the most expensive sleep pants in the world (Morgan was/is taking sewing lessons and with the cost of the classes, they're nearly $40 at this point).
Figure out cords we need for the portable DVD player, going to NH tomorrow and MUST be able to watch The Hunger Games :)

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hope you had a great trip cassey!

Jennifer, I hear ya. DD#1 got a machine for her bday. She made some super cute tanks for the girls, is making a bag, asked for more patterns and fabric yesterday for a sun dress and ag clothes! I bought ribbon.....

Today is supposed to be hot, looking like high 80s instead of high 90s like yesterday.

DD#2 has a 9am practice
11am performance.
Need to deposit a check
Hit walmart for a few things
Home
Send kids to swim
Figure out dinner
Do something productive
Take DD#2 to cheer
Home
Bed, another early performance tomorrow.

Afternoon! Welcome Back Cassey - glad you had a great trip!

Had to drive down to the Keys this morning to get my annual blood work done. I can't stand going to the doctors in Miami, every place is packed and crowded and a PA always sees me instead of a doc. So I go an extra 10 miles outta my way to see an awesome doc in the Tavernier, who's office is hardly crowded, I get in ON TIME, it's sooo peaceful!

Today:
tidy up house
pay bills
p/u paint for painters who come on Monday
make out grocery list
RELAX

Happy Friday!

Becky

Popping in to say hi! I know, I know, it has been ages, this year has been a challenge; medically, emotionally, and mentally. I've had little time for my therapy of scrapping, and if ever I needed to, it has been this year. When I've been online, it's with the iPad, and each time I go to post a thread, it gets deleted. Is there an app for that? :lmao:

I hope everyone is doing well, had a great summer, and is either doing or about to start singing "It's the most wonderful time of the year".:thumbsup2

Hey Lisa - it is wonderful to see you online!! Hope all is calmer... We have missed you.

Hi all :)

I'm home. Sarah is all moved in and happy. She spent today doing orientation and meeting with music teachers. She just called and is in good spirits. She loves her roommate :)

Hope everyone is having a happy Friday!

There actually is an app! Works decent. Can't has or see smilies though. :)

Cheryl, so glad to hear Sarah is happy with her roommate and she is in good spirits for her first night!

Jennifer, we didn't get to meet up with Holly. We were in DTD but the skies were getting an awful shade of gray so we decided to catch a bus back to the resort and were happy we did because the skies opened up right after we got on the bus! I hope Holly and her family did not get caught in the downpour!

I am exhausted and not feeling quite right so I am off to bed! I did manage to get my list done for today and upload my photopass, now to sort through the 400+ pics so I can order the CD. That will be a job for next week!

Julia and I had a fabulous trip and I can't wait to sort the pics and scrap it!

Cheryl,

So glad to hear Sarah is settled in and in good spirits!!!

PJ is settled in, in good spirits, has meet up with her friends from HS down there, meet up with her cousin for a few minutes today, and her and her roommates have been inseparable!!! They are hilarious!!! As we left, just north of the campus the skies opened up...and they were under a tornado warning... luckily one of the moms hadn't left yet so she stayed til the storm passed..she said they would have been fine but she didn't want to drive what we were in... (we had called and were chatting w/ PJ on speaker phone to warn the other parents who hadn't left)... she and the girls are headed out to the campus wide dance party... We are supposed to skype later..(she is in a different time zone so it'll be after midnight, but I don't mind)...
