It's so long since I've flown internationally that I can't remember...

Do you get access to duty free when flying home too?

I'm wanting to maybe get my Dad a bottle of something, and wondering if I need to get it on the way out, or if I can leave it to the way home.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Be careful if you are flying indirect though - the liquid restrictions apply in between flights as well so you may find your duty free is confiscated.

We always get ours on the way home from Orlando International. We pay in the store and then collect the duty free as we board the plane. This has always been with Virgin flights.

Awesome! Thanks guys! :thumbsup2

We're flying direct from MCO with Virgin Atlantic, so it sounds like we can do it on the way home.

I would only be getting one bottle of something (whisky or rum) for my Dad, that wouldn't put us over any limits would it?

Remember that anything you buy on the way out in duty free and then bring back with you still counts against your allowance.

Gatwick now has a duty free shop you have to walk through after baggae reclaim before you get out to meet family/get you car. You could always get it at literally the last minute there?

If you are flying VA they normally have pretty good prices on the plane too.

Thanks torsie! But flying direct Glasgow to MCO :thumbsup2

I'll check out the options at MCO before coming home.
