We have 13 y/o kids getting pregnant around here with regularity--sadly, most look a good bit older than 13 AND are female. This kid looks like a baby and the girlfriend looks much older than 15--It almost looks like a Mom and her two children. . . Sad for all concerned. . .

That is very sad. He does look very, very young.

My step-brother became a father at 16. His girlfriend was a few years older. He wasn't able to spend as much time parenting as he would have liked because the mother's family made it very difficult. The cycle continued and he became a grandfather in his mid-thirties.

DS had a boy in his scout troop become a father in the 6th grade. He had 3 kids by the time he graduated. I always wondered what happened to him.

There was a guy my DH use to work with that had a child when he was 14. He was my age, so now he is a grandparent of children older than my kids!

Its really not THAT uncommon. Sad, but not unusual.

Didn't that woman who seduced her student, Mary Kay someone have a child with him when he was in the 6th grade?

And frankly, it's criminal that they are publicizing it (the family, I mean).
