Da crane, Da crane!!!

Dose anyone now a firm date on when the the crane behind the castle is coming down? It really wont bother me too bad if its still there during our upcoming trip, but it would be nice if they finished up the painting soon.

I'd like to know, too. We'll be down there really soon and I'd rather the crane not be there at all. I've never seen it in person and would prefer to keep it that way!

The crane was still there when we were there for Thanksgiving, but it was completely hidden behind the Castle. You couldn't even see it or know it was there unless you looked at the Castle from the side. We even had lunch at the Castle and didn't even see it!!

No idea when it is coming down but we were at the MK yesterday and it is still there and very visible as you walk down main street. Real shame as so many people are here! Sorry I don't have any photos...too busy making sure I got my french toast loaf from the Main Street bakery! Yum!

I hope its gone for your vacation. When I worked there I hated the crane it was there forever, taking down the cake from the 25th aniversary.

If its there then try to ignore it and have a wonderful time.

I hope (but I know it probably won't) be gone by tomorrow when we arrive! As long as I can't see it from the front I don't really care if it's there.

We were at MK on 11/30 and it was there but when we went back again on 12/4 it was not there. Or if it was there, I couldn't see it from the front of the castle. I took pictures from Main St both times.

I have absolutely no idea when the crane is coming down. I just had to post to tell you that "da crane! da crane!" made me laugh out loud! The image of Tattoo, standing in the Magic Kingdom and pointing towards the Castle, just popped into my head. Yes, I am easily amused.

Great idea! I hope it will be down for you. I remember someone over on the photography board removed the crane in photoshop for their pictures, that might no be an option for you though.

DW and I were so hoping it would be down by now. We'll be there tomorrow, and it looks like we're gonna get crane'd.

I hope it's gone soon! I know they're working as fast as possible, but it has been like three months!

Is it still extended during part of the day? It isn't a big deal to me to have the crane in my castle pics- that's what Photoshop is for, but I'd hate to have it be in someone's first trip pictures or something!
