So when I sign in, I get a page that says

Is that the page that you just constantly refresh to try to grab additional sessions?

I think I answered my own question. I went back and refreshed a few times and one suddenly popped up. I immediately went to grab it and when I hit submit a second later, it said it was no longer available.

So I think it’s just a refresh and sniping exercise. Fun. Lol.

Friend and I tried. Too slow to get anything. I was in pretty early, but there wasn't much even then. Saw 3 things I wanted multiple times but never could get them. I'm periodically reloading but betting on standby. I am even bringing my trusty leisure mat/thin pad from Japan

I’m bringing an ECV in part because I can’t walk an entire day (either at the park or convention center) but as a side benefit, it gives me a seat in line.

I think it’s a little weird they’re doing this re-reservation process. They know there are going to be standby lines for everything. If a seat frees up from RSP they should just let a standby fill it rather than this silly refresh exercise.

Last time we were able to get into everything we wanted via standby for the panels we didn't get RSPs

I agree. I feel like why bother. I feel bad for people that never got emails. At least they threw me a bone last time. It wasn't something I wanted, and I didn't attend, but at least I wasn't completely empty handed. I feel like if you had to rely upon this method to get anything, you were probably out of luck.

This carries the same frustration that some other Disney reservations have - that you have to go through three pages to find out you've already missed out on it.

This site is clearly designed for something that has inventory, not for sniping. The fix is easy - just have the item lock for 15 seconds (or more) after you first click on it - it's yours for those 15 seconds (or more) to start the booking process, and renews with each page. If you balk, it goes back into the pool.

Ohhh, that explains things. Yeah, things were going way too fast for an average human.

They must be picking things up and cancelling other things. That's why I saw the random Bluey, Pixar Ball and Penant pop up. They must have gotten something better in that time frame.

Breathing a sigh of relief rn. Currently on the plane on the way to CA. We were originally set to fly Thursday but Debby the hurricane has other plans for our area that day (she's such a downer). This morning we scrambled to finish packing, get pet extra care, hotels, and a new flight before all the rain hits our area!

Aw man, I have some extra spots to something but I'm not going to release them, then. Not so someone can nab them using a bot. Better to make more room for the standby folks

The other frustration is that Disney has all our RSP preferences. If people cancel or otherwise release their slots, why not just feed it back into the model and randomly assign it to someone who had it as a preference, starting with people with zero RSPs and working upwards.

Never got an email. My 15 yr old daughter (main reason we go because she hopes to be an Imagineer one day) is really bummed. Tried the link but as you all said, they were gone even after we selected. Such a bummer as we did not get even one pick.

I'm planning on getting into line pretty early for this one. In '22 the Muppets panel was my favorite one.

I saw lots of things pop up but couldn't nab a single one. Figures it is bots....
