D23 Sorcerer's Pass - what to expect?

I was luckily enough to be able purchase a Sorcerer's pass for this year's D23. I was hoping that a Sorcerer's pass veteran could provide some insight as to what I can experience. Googling only gave me one review, but I'd like to hear a bit more about what's it like.

I was luckily enough to be able purchase a Sorcerer's pass for this year's D23. I was hoping that a Sorcerer's pass veteran could provide some insight as to what I can experience...

I was also lucky enough to purchase Sorcerer's passes, and don't know what to expect -- particularly since we have not attended any similar conventions.

The most interesting (or valuable) Sorcerer's pass benefits:

• Reserved seating at presentations in Hall D23, Stage 23, and Stage 28

This is the primary reason we purchased. DW is not willing to wait in line for hours.
Media also purchase passes for this reason, apparently there are no "media" passes.

• Exclusive shopping time in the D23 Expo Dream Store, Disney Store, and Mickey’s of Glendale

Some passes are purchased specifically for shopping, both for individual collections and also for resale. Resellers make enough profit to more that cover the high cost of the pass.

Thanks for your response! I'm not much of a shopper, but I definitely got tired of queuing up for hours in 2015. I only got to see two panels a day, and none of them were in the big halls.
