Anyone catch Josh's timeline at the end of his presentation? DVC Polynesian Village resort was listed at the end of 2024. Looks to be keeping the same name so maybe same association?

The real news was that there was no other project announced other than DLT and Poly and no new info on Poly. The name has always been PV for the resort. That does not predict the DVC association status.

I think the best predictor of it being in the same association as PVB is DVC not announcing that it is a new association. I would think they would highlight that in every sales pitch that PV2 was a different association to help create FOMO and sell direct points at WDW.

If it was going to be the same association I would not announce it and let the rumor mill of a separate association drive some sales to direct until they had to announce it.

That’s the name of hotel, not DVC. If It has said Poly Villas and Bungalows than it would mean something.

Regardless of association, the tower is being built at the Poly.

I do not think they will announce or market it because if it doesn’t come to be…or they change their minds…it could be seen as deceptive.

Its too early for that type of decision. Its still over 2 years away and plenty of time.

And 2024 would be a bit barren without including it. They had to include Cotino and show separate glyphs for Tiana's Bayou Adventure at both parks.

I saw a screen shot of it and I agree, they were just trying to show all the things coming down the pike with a nod to this project as well.

Next D23 is in 2024 before Poly opens so no need to announce anything else.

Will happen in 2024 leading up to it being on sale. They haven't even started the full court press with Disneyland tower yet.

Eh, I think they actually haven't decided yet. I think this will be a gametime decision when they declare, or it would have been more clear. It's intentionally vague.
