D23 Expo September 9-11, 2022 Superthread **Updates in Posts 2 & 3**

So I just realized I already had Disneyland Hotel booked! I made the reservation last October and had forgotten about it. Glad I looked through my email.

Anyway, I'm happy to time a cancellation release when you can grab it!
Would you still be willing to do the timed cancellation? Not sure if you still have the extra booking but I thought I would ask. I know I keep changing my mind but the person I’m going with really wants to stay at DLH.

Hey! Yup, we can do that. This is a good reminder to cancel the one booking, thanks. I'm on a plane en-route to Vancouver rn but perhaps tomorrow?

How far in advance will they release some kind of schedule..? Debating park tickets but that depends on how many hours I'll be at the convention center...

Last time around the big panels were announced about 2.5 months before with the finalized schedule out 2/3 weeks before. Typically the expo is open 9am-7pm.

Also, are the DLR parks open late enough to warrant getting tickets? I mostly just want to see the night time shows and parades

Chances are the park hours that weekend will be 8am - 12am at Disneyland and 8am - 10pm at DCA. Those are the typically weekend hours year round and most weeknights other than really slow periods which Halloween time is not.

Looks like the savings aren't that great until you get into 3 days or more. We might be better off getting tickets through my husbands work if they're cut further since we arrive late Thursday and leave Sunday... I'm not even sure we need Sunday since we plan to start driving home at some point that day. Thanks for the info!

Looks like there is no cheaper option for an evening-only ticket, which is all I wanted for the Friday night of the expo. Disappointed because I don't want to pay $140 just to go to a park that night.
