We sailed this past summer and yes, they did. They now have two different mugs. The tall mug with the color DCL logo and a shorter wider mug with the DCL logo with no color.
While on the Treasure in Early September I was told by the bartender in the Pub that the newer wider mug is also larger (3-4 oz.) that the older tall mug.

You will get a plastic version if you order at any of the pool deck bars and a glass version everywhere else. You can exchange the plastic for glass and vice versa. You can also get a token if you don't want to carry the mug around.
I think the official answer is no, they don't want you to do that. But I have not seen this enforced. On our cruise in Sept. I brought my mug and had no issue. Personally, I like the new mug better so I was happy to get the new design, plus it holds more beer... win!
