Okay, I'm on Facebook today. On my profile info, I mention how much of a self-proclaimed Disney addict I am. A couple of friends of mine that I know from high school have emailed me in the past couple days wanting help planning their Disney vacays. Of course, I am so excited to help! I have to get my Disney fix any way that I can.
So then I get the "Become a fan of The DIS" message and of course I accept. We all know that it is the coolest FB page to be a fan of!
Then I get two messages from other friends of mine. One says "You are such a NERD!!! I love you... too funny! I also think it's cute!" and the other one says "I am going to call you D-Squared.. Disney Dork, hahahaha". I know they are kidding and are just doing this in jest, but at the same time, it's kind of rude.
Why can't people just mind their own business sometimes?
Sorry that I love all things Disney - it totally brings happiness and
to my life. And the funny thing is, one of those women has been to Disney with me and appreciates all the planning and knowledge I have of Disney.
Does anyone else every have this problem w/ non-Dis'ers or non Disney fans? I usually don't let things like this bother me, but for some reason it has just rubbed me the wrong way. Thanks for letting me mini-rant. I guess I'm just looking for validation and reassurance.
