D-Luxe Burger - are the burgers still bland?

First, I love burgers. I consider myself something of a burger connoisseur. Anyway, the last (and only) time I ate at D-Luxe was October 2016. It had opened fairly recently and many reviews suggested the burgers were bland. Since you really can't trust Disney restaurant reviews, I figured I'd give it a try for myself. So, I dropped by late on a Friday evening it was pretty empty and got the burger, fries and shake. Ate the fries first as I always do since cold fries are awful and they were great. Shake was great. Burger was remarkably bland just as I was warned!

So, is it the same story? Maybe mine just wasn't seasoned? Thoughts?

We too were extremely underwhelmed with our burgers. They were bland and kind of gray looking like they had been precooked and microwaved. It always smells good so we figured we would give it a shot. The fries were pretty good but with so many options at Disney Springs for great food I doubt we will be back any time soon.

I think you might've hit it at an off time. When we went last September, it was easily the best quick service burger I ever had down at Disney. My GF wasn't as thrilled with their Chicken Burger, but that's because of the herb blend they used in the ground chicken.

Bland is not a word I would use to describe D-Luxe. I thought my burger was outstanding (December 2016).

Very few places have anything but bland burgers - for a reason!! A lot of people don't like much seasonings or spices on their food. They have to make them 'generic'!! We are from So. LA and love our spices!
To help with that situation, we carry tiny bottles of Cajun seasoning or Tabasco with us 'always'!! Takes care of that!!
Would taste even better 'grilled' in, but unfortunately the only place we get that is at home.

We enjoyed the Southern Burger and didn't consider it bland. However, we were trying to split it, and there set up/serving manner does not work well for that. Plus, it was an incredibly messy burger, especially when split. I think I ended up eating it in pieces.

I found their burgers to be pretty bland & greasy - so greasy that there was a puddle on the paper when I picked mine up We all had the same problem. It's hard to enjoy a soggy burger.

I did like the fries & shakes!

Maybe it was an off day? We ate there in October of 2017 and we thought the burgers were great.

Yes, as most people like them seasoned/spicy in the deep southern areas, they are more likely to fix them that way.
Especially the little mom & pops places!! Yum!
