D-Day Invasion- "Strange"-ly Imminent!! TRIP REPORT IS UP!!

I'm sitting here with tears running down my checks. What an emotional day for you after an emotional/stressful trip to get there. It brings back such happy and sad memories of my two boys graduating high school (and one who has now graduated college as well...although back in school).

The pics are great, you look like a proud mom and it seems as if everyone had a good time.

I am glad that you were able to make it to your son's graduation on time and that you didn't have car problems until after you had already arrived. I like all the little details you put it in like all the languages because I would have asked you what the 7 were.

Good Morning, Leslie! I forgot to ask the other day on your thread how your classes are going. Everything going well??

Things are going well. I like my second class much better. It also made me realize that I made the right choice focusing on the clinical side rather than the office part. :goodvibes

What a beautiful graduation ceremony. I love how intimate it seemed to be. The violin player - is she going to college in the States?

It must have been a dream to dance with your son :goodvibes - I haven't danced with mine since he was a little boy!

When I was searching for the spider on the internet I came across the camel article - I wouldn't want to see that thing in my house!! :scared1:

It sounds like a wonderful day for all the aggravation getting there. Just beautiful!

It was a wondeful day- all around! The kids did a great job in all they had planned for the day. THat's the beauty of such a small class; they basically planned the whole thing themselves.

It's definitely an occassion to look back and relive the memories. I was one proud Mama!

Me too!! I should add that when I say those kids can speak those 7 languages, I mean they really can SPEAK them fluently. Not just a little, but enough to have friendships IN that language. I think that is SO cool! :worship:

I would have done the clinical side too. Office stuff is so tedious to me.

That's how to earn the title Ninja Poster! :lmao: You snuck right in there :)

I think she is going to Yale. She had a perfect 4.0 (or higher becuase of the AP courses), and I know she was turned down at Princeton. Geez, I wouldn't have even been able to DREAM about applying there! :rotfl2:

Can you imagine a spider so deadly it could kill a CAMEL??!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

We are doing Medical Billing right now and it is uber tedious. The same stuff over and over again. It's good to know because a lot of officies hire Medical Assistants to do a little bit of both. I think I could handle that but I wouldn't want to do only office stuff.

Did you know maroo is a certified "coder", and does office stuff? She specifically (correct me if I'm wrong, mar) does liason work with patients/ insurance ***.

My mom was a coder/biller for my dad, who was an anesthesiologist until just a few years ago.

Just read the article on the camel killing spider.

:scared1:

And that you found them in your house!
:faint:

Great update L!

I'm already dreading the story that is to come!

Oops! Should have multi-quoted! Sorry!

Anyway, the next chapter isn't too bad, at least not so emotional. But, yes, there is oodles more drama to keep you entertained.

ONe time, I was reading VERY late at night on the bathroom floor, leaning against the tub, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw this "gray thing" skitter across the floor. At first I thought it was a mouse, but it turned out to be the biggest hairiest spider I"ve EVER seen. Except the tarantulas I grew up with in California. Which were VERY cool, by the way.

I do a lot of late night reading in the bathroom. But it's never on the floor... :rolleyes1

After I wrote that and comtemplated some, I KNEW you'd come up with something along those lines. Went fishin' and caught me a big one. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

That is cool! I haven't gotten into the coding side yet, just a little bit. I'm glad I decided to do this program. :thumbsup2

Okay...if this had been me, I would have been having to "clean up" the floor. :scared1: Mark and I were trimming bushes, trees, etc., and I jumped 20 feet when I saw a small black toad. :lmao:

Seriously?? The kids and I were picking up toads at the Lake this last week. They're kinda fun to play with, except when they pee on you.

:lmao: Good job! If it wasn't me, it was sure to be Jordy or Glennbo.

:rotfl2:That's twice in one evening you've ninja'd on me.

Jordy was on practically all day yesterday, (ask me how I know...), but haven't seen him today. Maybe my AM? :confused3

Glennbo is too busy cleaning up the arm flab mess I've made on his own PTR. :lmao:
