D-Day Invasion- "Strange"-ly Imminent!! TRIP REPORT IS UP!!

I think you may be right... poor thing.

Hey Mama! How are you? :goodvibes

Ah, my long lost friend!! I"m very well, thanks!! But more tired than I"ve been in a long, long time. I've gotten half my laundry done already, ate the BEST bean burritos I think I've ever had (after eating greasy rice, soup and way too much cabbage for the last 2 weeks, I was needing something in the comfort food dept!), and am waiting for my dog to whelp tonight. Yes, once again, she's gotten herself knocked up. :lmao:

Wow - what an adventure - and it's hardly started!! I love the photo of your husband sleeping on the side of the road and your kids all snuggled in the back of the car. I love road trips!! But... I've never been on a road trip like this one!

Wow - what an amazing creature!:scared1: Is it a tarantula? I'm trying to find it on the internet but can't come up with anything that is an exact match. I'm on a mission though!:lmao:

I LOVE that picture too! One of those that a thousand words...

The spider was actually no bigger than say, 1/2 inch- 3/4 inch. I haven't had time to go searching for it on the net yet, so let me know what you come up with!!! :worship:

Oh wow - I though it was much larger - maybe that will help my search! :rotfl:

Liesa! I missed you! :hug:I totally understand wanting comfort food after a long stretch of time out of your comfort zone. Dog knocked up again?!? Oh my. Will you have to deal with the pups before you leave?

Hi Camille - did you have a wonderful trip?

Ummmm...yes! :goodvibes But I'm not going back during the hot months with this weight on or with my body this out of shape....hopefully ever again. I'm now wishing Jordy's big trip was in the winter, I realize there is a group going then but I don't want to miss seeing the big group. Hmmmm, now I'm really thinking about which time of the year I'll end up going.
Your so sweet and thoughtful to ask about my trip, thank you.

WOW! What a journey, in so many ways.

It is nice to know that kids are, well, kids. reminds me of a million really long road trips as a kid myself. You sleep. You kick your brothers legs off of you. You push your hot sweaty sleeping sister off your shoulder and onto someone else. And then you have to pee.

You do not, unless you are playing the license plate game or are in desperate need of the facilities and therefore scanning scanning scanning for any sign of "restroom next exit" or gas station or fast food indicators, actually paying attention to anything outside the car.

I've been nosing through your pictures this morning, hope to do more when I have more time!

I am just grateful you are back in one piece.

I'm not on Facebook...avoiding for as long as possible. That's okay, I'll see them as the TR unfolds.

I was the same way about it because I thought it was only for the teens, but it's really not so. When I finally got on and realized what it's all about and how easy it is.....well, I'll just say you really should check it out. It's easy, fun and you can know what's going on with all the people you know all on one page.

I'm going to have to pick this up in the AM. The eyelids just won't stay up anymore... have a great day ya'll!!

Welcome back!

What a trip that must have been. Just getting there was exhausting to read about! I can’t imagine actually going through it. This looks to be a wild ride. I’m just glad you are all safe and sound. Looking forward to more. Now go to bed. You need some rest!

Not again! The fun just keeps getting piled on your plate doesn't it. I can't think of anyone I know that deserves this trip to WDW as much as you do!

Let us all know what you come up with! I thought it was a lot bigger too. It quite freaked me out when it popped up on my PC this morning!

wow, what a trip , i love reading about it dare i say even more than disney trip reports. that is soooo out of my comfort zone. i consider roughing it a motel with outside corridors. and the only country besides the usa i have ever been to is an all inclusive resort in the bahamas. i am such a chicken butt i could never make that trek. looking forward to reading about more

speechless.....and that doens't happen very often!;)

I can't even fathom sleeping in a field along side the road!

Am I correct in guessing that there aren't regular rest areas along the highway?......I will never again complain about the stinky or dirty rest stops in Idaho....

What an incredible journey so far. My gosh, I'd be envious of those kids to be able to just sleep through it all. I'd be the one (probably like yourself) all worried and uptight if we'd make it. Sounds like a very scary place to plan a road trip. So where are you now? Just so I can keep track of the time zone you're in ;)

I've started a new PTR. Yup, it's official! Come on over when you recover from your journey.
