Cypress Pointe Review

Hello everyone:

I just returned from a visit to Orlando that included 4 nights at Cypress Pointe, Phase 1. We stayed in a studio and were very pleased. The room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the volcano pool and the hot tub, which was very close to our room. We also borrowed some basketballs from the front desk and played at the court located on the Grand Villas side of the complex. The court is well maintained.

We rented the room through Hotel Kingdom, and were not subjected to the hard sell with respect to the time share aspect of the resort. When we picked up our welcome packages (with samples of various products, nothing special), we were offered a free breakfast and a $150 Visa if we attended a 90 minute presentation. We declined without incident.

Overall, we had a great time and would happily stay here again.

Thanks for posting. We sre staying in a 2 bedroom in pahse 1 in Feb. I had read a review that the carpets were dirty, so reading yours eases my mind.

I stayed at Cypress pointe in June 2004, and I loved the place. Rooms are great, with big TV, and hot tub was a nice touch.
Resort is very nice, and I am not too sure what building we were in, but we more or less had a pool to ourselves with jacuzzi.
Another plus point is it's only couple of mins from the entrance to WDW.
One thing not to miss, is eating at the Orlando Ale house which is just over the road from Cypress Pointe. Food is very nice, with very big portions, and loads of TV's with the American sports on.
