Cypress Pointe photos from our last trip

Thanks for posting your pictures. They turned out really well. Our decision to stay there is becoming easier and easier. My only concern about booking is that Hotel kingdom is the cheapest but they require the entire amount. :(

sammi...was it Cypress Pointe or Cypress Pointe Grand Villas???

Very nice place either way...It looks like you are my accomadations GURU...LOL:teeth:

Yes Bea that's the only "downside" to booking through Hotelkingdom.....and we're extra lucky since my family are oqners there we stay at no cost!:p

LOL Samantha! Hi! JohnnyOldBoy helped you out with your question.;) And thanks for my new "title". I've been glad to help you out for the past few years with great places to stay.:sunny: Maybe you'll stay at CP when we're there this Nov.?::yes::

Thanks again JOB for the link for pictures.:sunny:

Bea,

You will not be disappointed in staying at CP. If you do not have a credit card, go get you a prepaid credit card and put the amount on it. That way it will be paid for before you go and after you return from your trip. If you have a bank debit card, that might work as well. Don't let that paying in full be the drawback to staying at a extrememly nice place. It is definately worth it.

Now does anyone know of a good place to stay on the beach in Pensacola, FL? We came back through that way on the way home and I was very impressed with the beach. I am starting to plan our vacation next summer there and would like any info ya'll may have. I am going to lay off disney and universal for a while. The next time I will try and stay onsite at universal because of the long, long lines. Will put more on this on the US forum.

Hi
We are thinking of booking a stay there thru Hotel Kingdom. Were you required to attend a sales pitch.
Thanks

We also booked thru HK and were not required to attend a presentation. We did receive a phone call and offer to do it, but were not called again after turning them down. I can't remember what the gift was for going.

Just giving this a little **bump** for those of you who haven't seen these.:D

I'm not sure what kind of "digs" you're looking for but several years ago I stayed in a place called Five Flags Inn. It is right on the beach not the Ritz but it was more than decent and the price wasn't bad either. Go to www.fiveflagsinn.com to check it out.

BTW 2minnies, you aren't required to attend the presentation if you book through HK but you will be asked if you want to. We did and got a hundred Disney Dollars for doing so :) However, it didn't go very well and I didn't enjoy. As I said on another post, just make sure that you are up front that you aren't buying anything and Never, I repeat NEVER act interested.

We have a 2 BR booked at CPGV for next month and noticed that the price through HK was quite a bit less for CP. Are the units that different? We are happy with the price for the CPGV but now I see the pix am wondering about the differences. They all look great. Do they offer any shuttle service to DD or the parks?
We will hav e a car but if some want to go at a different time it would be nice to have some options.

I haven't stayed at CP so I'm not too sure of the BIG difference...if any. I do know that they are renovating all of CP so that'll be a very nice change too. We're staying at CP (in a 3 bedroom) this November so I'll be able to see if they're much of a difference and I'll take lots of photos to share when we go down.:D I do know that folks here on the DIS have stayed at CP so I'm sure someone will hop on this thread.

No there aren't any shuttles to WDW but you aren't far from Hotel Blvd. and the downtown Disney area.:sunny:

Hope this helps.::MickeyMo

Does anyone know any short-cuts or the best way to drive from Cypress Pointe Grand Villas to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom? We have always stayed on site or at DTD so I am not used to driving around the area in a car. I found some Orlando area maps at our local Barnes and Noble Bookstore but none of them show Cypress Pointe. I heard that it's close to DTD but I don't know how close or how to even find the Magic Kingdom from DTD.
