which do you prefer? why?

I preferred Vistana. Beautiful lush grounds, extremely large condo (stayed in Fountains), huge second bedroom with 2 doubles and its own tv(this was a big hit with the kids), restaurants, bars, buy the pools, gorgeous pool areas. Very large complex with lots of activities. Loved it!

Stayed at Cypress Pointe last year. I didn't dislike it, but it's not on the same level as the The Vistana (jmho). Lots of noise at the resort, workers doing maintainence very early in the morning. Car doors slamming people talking loud in the parking lot. I just always remember being awakened early every morning by some form of noise. Second bedroom was very small and had no tv. Didn't like the set up with the toilet having no privacy from the rest of the bedroom. But! Huge master, nice patio, can't be beat location and nice enough pool area. I would stay there again if the price was right.

Is Vistana that much further?

I am very, very, bad with directions but if I remember correctly the Vistana is off the same main street (no, I don't know the name). I remember them being in the same area, very close to the entrance to WDW. No doubt someone will give you a better idea. I should have specified that Vistana also has a wonderful location.

I see on other thread that people are getting a 3bdrm for 89.00 but, from what I have also seen is there are only windows on one side of the suite is this true for all the vills there?? the $ is great but do I want to give up the extra light and have a better bathroom situation? right now I'm at SVR-2bd/2b for 164nt with tax. I know steepLOL still trying to get it lower some how.
