Hello Everyone! I have a few questions about Cypress Pointe Grand Villas for those of you that have stayed there.

We will be going there from January 10th until January 22nd, and we booked a three bedroom Villa through Hotel Kingdom. We are staying a total of 12 nights, and five of the nights at the start and then again at the end my sister, her hubby, and here two little ones (ages 5 and seven) will be staying with us also. On the 13th they will be going on a four Disney Cruise.

In our family, there is four of us, my hubby and myself, and then a 14 year old and 17 year old. The reason we had gotten a three bedroom was because my brother was suppose to be going with us also, but now is unable to.

Here is my question, if I go back down to a two bedroom, it will save me over $600. But, will we have enough room for the five days my sister and her family are ther with us? Again, there are four of us, and four of them, but the two girls usually end up with them in bed anyways.

Just want your guys opinion if it is better for us to go down to a two bedroom. (and yes, I realize they say only six to a two bedroom, do they watch that?)

Also... Any suggestions for a location to request?? I am kind of worried about the fact our plane does not come in until about 11pm on that night, I do not want to get a bad location.

Thanks everyone!! :santa:

I would keep the 3 bedroom. We own there and they do have restrictions on the number of people you can have in the place. The 3 bedrooms will have a double master bed/bath layout which will be good with your sis coming down. There will be a bedroom with twin beds. And the living room will have a pull out couch/bed. The 2 bedroom has 1 master bed/bath, the twin bedroom, and the pull out. It is much smaller.
The rooms are allocated 1 to 2 days in advance. There are not really any "bad" locations. The highter up you are the quieter usually. If you get a room that is on the far side from the resort check in and outside looking you might be able to see the fireworks from Universal, we could sit on our balcony and see them. It was very nice with a glass of wine....
There is a grocery store that you could walk to, but it is better to drive. It is one more Left up from where you will turn in to the resort. The front desk will tell you where it is.
There is also a back way into MK from CPGV... you go by the old Treehouses, and the Wilderness Campground.. Google map it and then print out the directions... I would tell you how, but they put in new lights this fall and I don't remember how many lights to the first L turn and then the # to the next L to go on property... sorry!!!
I like CPGV lots, it is my prefrence to stay there. We usually make a trip down to there 2 to 4 times a year, and have taken a ton of college kids to this resort. They also like it.. .it is close to DTD, and the parks. Usually a 10 min drive to DTD, and 15 to MK.
Have fun. You can also go to this site for more info...http://cypresspointe.net/
