Still trying to decide what place to book at - I was just wondering if anyone knows have they finished remodeling Cypress Pointe...also I was wondering are the Roman bathtubs they have in the rooms are they similar to the jaccuzzis in Cypress Pointe Villas, Thanks:D

:) Hi Just got back and stayed at Cy. Point. Last week of Jan.
Some reno was going on but it never effected us in anyway. Only complaint is the 2nd BR in 2BR was very small with 2 twins. Rest of unit, grounds pool etc great.

THANKS, iluvflorida...I saw a rate of $52 running for their 1 bdrm, looks like a GREAT place on the site - I think I'm gonna give them a try - Thanks Again:earsgirl:

What is the best way to book a room? I know you can do it on hotelkingdom, are there any other options so that I can compare rates? Does CP have its own site for resservations?

thanks,
Trena

It was about 100.00 more a night through them you can also try hotelmartusa.com. They seemed more expensive, but I think you get the Grand Villas through them.

was at Cypress Point Mar 12 thru Mar 15th. They only have 2 buildings renovated & I was told they are set aside for owners only. You can ask when you get there if they have anything open in the renovated buildings. When I asked during check in, I was told nothing available in the renovated buildings after what appeared to be the front desk person checking the inventory. We were then put in a very quiet building in a 2 bedroom non smoking just as I had requested when I made my reservation using hotelkingdom.com. Villa was fine with nothing on the brink of breaking, fridge & all appliances worked perfect. jacuzzi tub with 2 or 3 jets looked to hold 1 & 1/2 people depending on size. walk in shower. toilet in master bedroom does not have a door. We stayed here last year during Easter in a different building & both were comparably clean.
