Cypress Pointe Aug 2013

Has anyone recently stayed here? Not the Grand Villas, but Cypress Pointe. The four of us are going back to Orlando (was just at WDW 3/30-4/6) to do a Universal/Seaworld/Busch Gardens trip. I have Cypress Pointe on hold to use some of my timeshare points. I have read good and back reviews and am a little nervous about this one. On the map, it looks close to Universal. It is a 3 bedroom. Any advice would be appreciated. If I confirm, are there any building/room/location requests I should make?

I haven't stayed there in a few years but stayed a few times and enjoyed my stays. We always stayed in the villas and the 3BR were actually a 2BR and a 1 BR connected so 2 kitchens and 2 master BR's. They had 3 pools and pretty good take out food from the on site store for reasonable. All pools were a short walk. It is in the DTD area so I wouldn't consider it close to Universal but if you take Turkey Lake Blvd (very close) you avoid the freeway and it is probably no more than 10-15 minutes to Universal. It has been a few years but definitely loved my stays.

Thanks for the information! I confirmed the reservation, so we are Cypress Pointe bound the first week of August!(
