Cypress point and Cypress point Grand villa, the difference???

I see on hotelkingdom.com that both of these come up.

Ofcourse I can guess that the "grand villa" are a little nicer. But the "non-grand" condos.........are they ok. The rate for Dec. 2004 (we are not going until Dec. 2005) is $66 for a two bed. condo. That sounds pretty good.

Has anyone stayed at Cypress Pointe?? Do they share the same pools?? Is Cypress pointe a dump and the Grand villas the only way to go??

Thanks in advance. :sunny:

I also found this comparison sheet they have listed on Cypress Point's website:

"A commonly asked question has been what are the differences between Cypress Pointe Resort aka Phase 1 and Cypress Pointe Grande Villas aka Phase 2? We have put together a comparison chart so you may better match your vacation needs to the best available resort.****
Amenities (Note: All amenities are available to guests at either resort)"

Perfect. Gives a nice comparison.

Now I'm thinking that a condo at Windsor Palms might edge out CP for the money. I like the fact you can pick the exact condo you want at WP. You can see pictures of exactly what you are getting.

Thanks for the info all. :sunny:

Pamela,
I have never stayed at Windsor Palms, however I have stayed at CP and am sure you won't regret it if you choose that location. It is a great villa for the money or as a timeshare exchange. Lots of room and good pools. Not our favorite resort, but our favorite doesn't come up on Hotel Kingdom.
