We went there in October on Columbus Day weekend as we figured it would be quieter than the main parks. Well it was really quiet but it was great as the kids DD(7) & DS (11) were able to walk on nearly all rides and in most cases stay on rides for 3 otr 4 turns. There were no real thrill rides more like fairground rides but my kids had a ball. There is also botanical gardens to look round and a water park although we just spent the time on the rides and seeing some shows. There is a very good water ski show and there was a Halloween Phobia Ice Skating show which was excellent.
Oh and it was really cheap to get in - we were asked if we were
AAA members and we said we were AA members and showed our card and got $20 off the total admission BUT that's not all we were directed to guest services and they issued all the members in our party (6) with tickets for another day which were valid for the next 7 days! Unfortunately we weren't able to use them but my kids when asked what the top 3 things on holiday were always say MGM, IOA and Cypress Gardens - even over Discovery Cove! So a real hit with our family.
