My husband wants to bring his bike on our next trip. Has anyone else done this? Any tips on riding routes, if WDW is ok with it, where bike can be kept (guest services?), etc.
I've often wondered about the cycling at WDW too. I'm a fairly avid road cyclist and from what I can tell, there isn't much room on the roads inside the WDW resort - the buses don't leave much room and there really isn't a shoulder to speak of. Sadly, unless you like the slow, leisurely pace of mountain biking, I think you can forget bringing the bike. However, if you don't value your life, the cycling's probably great!!!
My dh is an avid cyclist. He often thinks about buying a cheap bike in Florida and just leaving it there. However, during our trips, he hasn't even had time to rent a bike, so I don't think cycling is realistic in dh's case. Saying that ~ he IS bring his bike camping this weekend! S
