I was in the Dallas store a few days ago and they had nothing that could be paired with the shirts.

They also had other individual shirts on the website as well, just not in the sale section. A lot of the pants pictured with the dolls (such as when they are wearing a jacket, etc) are no where to be found either.



Everything else that I had in my cart last night is still available for purchase, but unless other items magically reappear, I'm not going to bother.

Yes, I agree! I've noticed the same thing. And I also agree with your earlier post about some of the same things from last year being offered...they were! I ordered them last year

Sorry you feel that way - i do not. My daughter has both and always plays with her American Girl Dolls over any other dolls she has. The quality and the background is worth so much more then the price... if you dont like them i would advise staying off a thread with AG lovers like me and my daughter...

Get a cabbage patch kid and it's practically worthless the minute you take it out of the box. Get an AG doll, let your kids play with it for years, and you can still re-sell it for 75% of what you paid, or more if it's retired and in good condition.

I wonder if perhaps the "bistro" stores don't offer the pants? We use to go to the Chicago and NYC store often and they always sold separate "jeans" or "black stretch pants". I have never been to one of the smaller bistro stores.

I know most girls want the look-a-like dolls, but I bought Rebecca for my niece because of the educational aspects and was hoping something of hers would be available Not only was there nothing from her collection, but there wasn't much for the other Historical dolls either. I did see Josefina's bedding and I think Ruthie's play outfit, but that was all.

The Atlanta store had a whole display of pants near the registers a few weeks ago. The store had a spend $50, get a sweater/headband set for $12-14 and there were plenty of suckers like me buying the pants too. DD really wants pjs for her Bitty Twins so I grabbed the blue one for the boy during the sale and a few other items. I'm hoping the pink nightdress also goes on sale before Christmas. Shipping was $5, which honestly is less than the gas to drive to Atlanta so it didn't bother me.

There was also Kit's bedding and it sold out. I think Rebecca is a fairly popular doll and that's why her stuff isn't on sale much. The other 18" doll clothes were in last year's Inner U catalog. Overall, I was happy with the sale, though.

We have Rebecca. Her Hannukah set and phonograph are great. Also have her hat/coat and purple dress. My DD won her at the AG Fashion Show.

My daughter doesn't like cabbage patch kids, and has been scared of them since she was very little. So no I wouldn't be better off. Not sure spending $30 on a doll she won't touch is a better deal.

Sounds like it's time for your nap since you went out of your way to read and make a negative comment on a thread that was obviously about AG dolls. If you don't like them, that's fine, don't buy them, but thanks for sharing.

I had first looked on ebay and cannot believe how jacked up it is on there. I could see if it was hard to find, but it's not, and with shipping and tax I only paid $31.45

I agree about ebay. I don't understand it either. If the item is sold out or retired then sure, it makes sense for the price to be inflated. When it's something you can order yourself directly from AG, I don't see why anyone would pay extra to get it from ebay.

I grabbed Kit's bedding (we have Kit's "old" bedding too LOL) the Bitty stroller and Bitty Baby pink sleeper.

I'm really happy that last month I ordered the Kanani items I wanted (I mean she wants LOL)...minus the shave ice stand. Bummer too, we love going up to the North Shore and getting some shave ice!! I can't get over how fast Kanani stuff is selling out!
