CVS'ers...............Stores with CRT machines

I found one in New Jersey. It is in the CVS in Lanoka Harbor on Rt. 9.
I was quite surprised & pleased to find it!!

I haven't found one around here in NH that has these machines. I would love it if we had these!!

No. Its a little blue scanner only. But it does print coupons (when it isn't out of paper  ).

I've used the one in Waukegan and the one on Lincoln Ave. in Chicago.

Maggie

Hi maggiew! Do you mean the one on Lincoln north of Irving Park? Or the one just south of Foster?

I promise I won't go clear them out of all their deals, though! :lmao: I usually shop in the Loop or the suburbs (with hmillerbarilla); I'm usually CVSd out by the time I make it back near my neighborhood!

I can report that the one at 2 N. Riverside Plz. in Chicago has a scanner. It never has paper, though! Never!!! :sad2:

I wonder if any stores in Connecticut have these machines? I haven't seen one. (And I have been in more CVS's lately than I care to admit...;) )

Anyone want to do a CVS Spring Break road trip? :rotfl2:

Thanks for the updates!

This store has a scanner, but didn't have any paper. I just don't have luck with scanners in the city! :confused3

I would say every time I go in, "did anyone put paper in the scanning machine?" Maybe eventually it'll start to sink in.

It would be worth it to bug them as they seem to print a $3/10 CVS Brand every time.

A new CVS went up in Willingboro NJ, Rte 130 N and they have one. It's back by the Pharmacy dept. :yay:

I should start doing that! But why is it that the CVSs with scanners have the not-so-friendly staff and the CVSs without the scanners have the wonderful staff? :confused3

If I'm feeling daring I will! :thumbsup2

My store's scanner was out of paper and I asked the manager to refill it. She told me that more often than not, its that the paper was jammed and not empty. So we went over there and she opened it up and pulled the little paper out a bit and it worked fine! She said people pull too hard and the paper bounces back up into the spool and doesn't go through the opening.

So, ask your stores to fix it when its out of paper!

Good to know - I'll give it a go one of these days!

Hmm.. I've never heard of these but I see one near me. I'll have to go make an effort to check it out.

Thanks!

I'd do my mildest deals at that store just to get the coupon, then I would take it and use it at another store. Just be as sweet as can be and tell them how badly you want to be able to use the machine.
