Cvs weekly 8/2-8/8

The softsoap limit is more than 2. I did one, then it said limit not met, so I did another. My guess is limit 4.

ETA others are reporting limit is 5.

The Softsoap is at least 4. We bought three and the receipt still does not say limit met. The limit for us was the stock in the store.

Right now I m concentrating on Back to school supplies !!CVS is helping immensely!!!!I lso go to Office Max they have some awesome back to school deals 1c for box of crayons last week!! I'm waitingfor their deal on filler paper .Last year was the first year ever , we didn't have to buy more during the school year!!!

Office Max has filler paper for .10 this week.

Well like I mentioned last night, Softsoap is ringing up 4.69 here with 4 ECB's. Good deal!

Did one CVS run this morning and got all the eye drops and school supplies except the folders. But this store didn't have the softsoap, had no shelf space for it and 2 different employees said they never got it in at all. Their truck comes in on Wednesday but the sale will be over. I really had to talk and talk to get the cashier to write me a raincheck for it just in case they do get it in stock. She also suggested going to a larger store (45 minutes from my house  ).

I think I'll try the store here in my town, also small, to see if they got it in stock.

I forgot to add my visine prices were $3.99 for the wipes and the drops.

I must've fallen asleep, because I missed this one. What happened to you LanaJae? I Hope you are okay. :flower3:

I'm fine, thanks! - I was just complaining about a dumb Walgreens thing. Some idiot guy at Walgreens wants to look at the coupons I had in my hand while I was shopping - he thought I was going to buy things that the coupons weren't for. He could've waited until I tried :lmao: (just kidding - I am extremely careful at Walgreens). It wasn't even at a store I normally go to.

I am exhausted, I've been to 4 CVS and 5 Walgreens and I'm not done yet and I am running into major competition around here today. I started at 7:30 am.

No rulers or folders anywhere here. Softsoap is 5. If you don't have any more of the $2 IPs, buy a Reinventing Beauty magazine and there is a $1 CVS coupon on the page before the insert of coupons. It's worth spending the 99¢ to get is as you get all those other coupons to use later too.

I went at midnight last night and got all the school supplies I wanted. Some were already out though (pencils) so they will definitely be running low by tomorrow!

They didn't have the Softsoap at this CVS either and also had no shelf space for it but did give me a raincheck so I can try other CVS's at my leisure.

I did 5 transactions today on my and DH's cards. I'm beat! Long story, short I got the Visine, school supplies, Electrasol and Lysol, and Softsoap. I spent $12.60 oop and earned $51.93 in ECB!!!!! This was by far my best week yet. :cool1:

Regarding the Ready Fill coupon books -- ask for these everytime you got to a CVS. They are awesome! They have two 4/20 coupons in them as well as other q's. The two stores I was in allowed me to use a 4/20 and the 3/12 eyecare together.

DH went with me today. She gave the total as $20 something and he looked at me like :confused3 because I had told him how economical the trip as going to be, the I gave her my coupons and the she said your total is $.97 and I gave her a dollar. When we got into the parking lot he said, "How did you do that?" It's all in the :wizard:. He decided since we saved so much I should take him to lunch. :lmao: So much for saving money.

He also wants to know if we can buy our utilities through CVS. :rolleyes1 Maybe they will work on that.

I am really excited about this weeks deals! Thanks as always! I haven't had time to come post my deals lately because I've been so busy but I have a question for you all and a good deal for those that dye your own hair.

For the buy 6 get 1 free hair dye deal (mine has been listed on the bottom of my receipt for a while now, since I bought my last box) does that print out a coupon or will the computer automatically make the last box free? Herbal Instincts hair dye is on sale for $5.99 this week and there is a $4 coupon in the P&G insert making it $1.99 a box. I need to buy five more boxes to get the free one and want to use six coupons to make it an even better deal ($1/box!). Can I do it in one transaction or will I have to wait for a coupon to print to get the free one? I guess I kind of solved my problem myself, realizing that I could still use the coupon in the free box transaction, but still curious about how it works. Thanks!

LOL, going out to lunch is exactly what my DH would suggest. They don't get it! :cutie:

I've had really good luck with CVS here. They nearly always have things in stock. Today, they didn't have the Electrasol Tabs however. I'll be going back because I actually bought coupons for them!! I ended up spending $0.31 and got nearly $40 back in ECBs!!

My Rite Aid run was REALLY good!!! I spent $36 and I'll be getting $48 back!! More money for the vacation fund! I got all the free items and had coupons for nearly everything. Had two 5/25 coupons, so I split my purchases and only needed one $2.99 filler item. Love those kind of trips!!!

I hope I made that the right color!

I only had time to go to the Dollar Store for papers :woohoo: and to the old Woodbury store. They were substituting different rulers and different folders when I was there. :thumbsup2

I went this morning to pick up the school supplies. No folders here either...both stores said they do not carry them :confused3 Also no Softsoap....one store said they had 1 bottle on the shelf when they opened at 8am...the other store hasn't even gotten them in stock yet. Of course they will only issue a raincheck for 1 since the ad says "limit 1." I think I will go back tomorrow and ask for another raincheck since I have 2 IP's. I used to be rolling $150+ ECB's.....but then I ran out of energy for all of the coupon hunting...deal making...and now I am down to $11 ECB's. I just do multiple transactions when needed and only buy stuff I really need.

On another note...I asked one of the pharmacy techs for the Ready-fill booklet and she literally threw a pamphlet at me....but it was only a booklet to keep track of your ready fill prescriptions...she was so rude!

Nice! Mine lied to me, told me they didn't have any and if they came in with the next shipment they might go fast so sorry in advance if I don't get one. I saw them sitting on the counter right in front of him, but they were half covered and I didn't realize that's what they were until after I sent DH to a different store to get one. I'll be heading there tomorrow to get one for sure.
