Cvs weekly 8/2-8/8

Hey there LanaJae~~you've mentioned buying Sunday's paper at the Dollar Store. Which Dollar Store do you go to? When I tried in Mahtomedi, there weren't any last Sunday and the cashier said they don't always get them in. Can you get it on Saturday night or just on Sunday and is it Minneapolis or St. Paul? Thank you as always! :goodvibes

(This is such a great Sunday insert week that I want to buy some extras! :thumbsup2)

I can't get the Visine to print :-( I'm going to try on the other computers. I do have 2 $2 off Tylenol extra strength, so if I can get one of the visines's to print I may can finish that deal, & do the blink, and use the coupon from the pharmacy book.

I don't know if you're trying the $3 one, but only the $2 works, the $3 reached the print limit a long time ago.

The one by Walmart in Woodbury sells them, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow because the P&G has not been in the early edition the last few months. They are Mpls. papers (better coupons).

In tomorrows coupons there is a blink q for $3 off.

I've got my plan of attack and after coupons and ECBs I should have about $5 plus tax out of pocket and $24 coming back in ECB's.

I'm a little confused- where does it say the Blink eye drops is $7.99 and earns $7.99 in ecb's? I have a deal worked out but I don't want to be misinformed and mess it up... did I miss the info?

Just did this transaction in the test market here, the pharmacist gave me a coupon book and the coupon beeped, it really doesn't start until Sunday - they pushed it through:

$11.97 Three Visine Wipes
7.99 Blink Gel Tears
-3.00/$12 eye care from Ready-Fill Coupon book (get from pharmacist)
-9.00 Three Visine mfgs. from 6-14-09 Smart Source
-4.00 Blink mfg. from 5-31-09 Red Plum
$3.96 (earned $12.99)

The tax thing is in full force here now. I had a zero balance and still had to pay $1.21 in tax for those 4 items.

I managed to get 2 of the $2 visines to print out, so I'm going to use mine like this (one one card, the other I haven't figured out yet)

I'm doing 1 blink $7.99 ($1.50 coupon) 1 visine $4.50 ($2 coupon), 2 tyelenols $4 each ($2 coupon each) Then I'm going to use the 3/12 eye = $20 (before coupons & I may can sneak a 4/20) $10.50 or $14.50 in coupons = $9.50 or $5.50 then get back $7.99 & $5...

I'm also doing electrosal... I have 4 coupons (1- $2.50 & 3 &1.00) and that's on sale 2/$9.oo then I need a lysol for school supply $4 ($1 coupon) = $22 before coupons then $6.50 in coupons (If I can't use my 4/20 I'll use it here, which is probably better) then it will be $11.50 and get $10 ecb back.

Then I'm doing the softsoap($4.99) & the free school supplies (around $20 total if they have everything) and I have rainchecks for some last weeks stuff (The comp books & mini staplers).. I have the $2 coupon for the softsoap, and a $5/30.. If they don't have the stuff I'll improvise and maybe add the free supplies to the blink deal.

I had the coupons for the mac & cheese, but it's B1G1 at Publix this week ($2.59) and I used my $1.50's there to get overage.

I have a question I was hoping someone could answer. I didn't know the Softsoap bodywash was a 3 day special. I bought it tonight and the ECB's did not print, the manager came up and printed it manually for me. My question is, can I get another during the 3 day sale since he force printed it does it register on the bottom of my receipt?
Thanks,
Pam

You can probably get another one. As long as it doesn't show up on the bottom of your receipt then it hasn't attached the deal to your card.

How many newspapers will you all be buying this week. I can't decide. There are so many good q's this week!

What a great week! I got 2 pharmacy booklets today and used the 4/20 and 3/12 eyecare to get my sister's card started with no OOP. 3 Visine, 1 Blink, =19.96. Minus 4/20, 3/12, 3 $3 visine Q's, $4 Blink Q, no OOP, $13 ecb's back! Amazingly this store was fully stocked on Electrasol which I was happy about since I bought coupons. So on my sister's card I used the 7.99 ECB and 4 $2.50 Q's to buy 4 boxes. I just need to buy one more tomorrow along with the softsoap and some school supplies and I'll be set with her card.

On the softsoap, it's regular and sale price rang up 4.69 instead of 4.99. Does anyone think it will actually be 4.69 with 4 ECB?

So you were able to use both CVS coupons from the new coupon booklet? Both the $3 off 12 and $4 off 20? I thought they would only allow one. This is great news. Or is this one of those YMMV things?

I bet it's a YMMV. One store would probably do it, but not another one..

Definitely YMMV. I didn't even realize that the total was less than $20 pre-tax until later, so he must have pushed it through. Also those coupons weren't supposed to work until tomorrow, so he pushed them through for that reason as well. So he obviously didn't care much. Lucky for me!

Found you guys :cool1: Totally spaced out and forgot to sub to this weeks thread....I was getting a little worried tonight and then realized what I did!

I am very excited to get out tomorrow! I am not doing the Visine deal though....my ad has them at $4.50. I have some of the Stayfree BOGO's left, so I am just going to do that instead. I also don't have enough for q's for the Lysol deal, so passing on that one as well....but still plenty of other great deals.

Tomorrow is definitely a good day to buy multiple papers! And for all you Rite Aid'ers on this thread, tomorrow is absolutely CRAZY! Definitely print out the $5/$25 coupons and all the other IP's at iheartriteaid.com. Also Reach toothbrushes are B1G1 Free there, and I have a bunch of the B1G1 coupons so lots of free toothbrushes on top of all the other free items there this week

Great trips RobFab and JustMickey!

disneybound31 - if you are in California or Nevada, I think that Blink isn't included, I don't know for certain, but I remember reading that they have a slightly different ad this week.

momtosam, I am buying 5 extra papers, plus I'll have the one delivered and I'll get 2 sets of inserts from my mom... and I still think that's not enough for this week :rotfl2:

Hi! I just got back from CVS. I went to the 24 hour one at midnight. The Softsoap body wash is more than limit 1 because my receipt does not say limit reached and I bought 1 on my card and 1 on my husband's card at midnight. It says "Quantity towards this reward 1, Quantity needed to earn reward 1".

I just got back from vacation and am back into CVS mode. I haven't gone in probably a month! :scared1:

Black pens .99
Blue pens .99
1 subject notebooks .99
1 subject notebook .99
Scissors 2.99
Scissors 2.99
Compass 1.50
Post its .99
Post its .99
ECB 7.99
ECB 2.97
ECB 1.98
Subtotal .48
7.0% tax .03
Total .51

Got back $13.42 in ECB (I spent $12.94 in ECB and .51 cash)

Blink Tears 7.99
Softsoap Serum 4.99
Lipton Decaf Tea 3
Lipton Decaf Tea 3
-3 Blink coupon
-2 Softsoap coupon
-1 Lipton coupon
-1.98 ECB
-1.98 ECB
-1.98 ECB
-5.98 ECB
Subtotal 1.06
7.0% tax .35
1.75% tax .24
Total 1.65

I miscalculated this and thought he would have to adjust my last ECB down but I don't know what happened. The only ECB I had left was $1.50 and I didn't want to adjust that down to $1.06 (lose .44!!! No way!!) . So I just paid that OOP. I could have probably thrown something in the use the ECB, but I didn't want to think about that.

Got back $11.99 in ECB (spent $11.92 in ECB and $1.65 OOP) plus I got $6 towards the Unilever deal in.

Skippy Peanut butter 2.00
Skippy Peanut butter 2.00
Flex ruler .99
-1 Skippy coupon
-$4 ECB
Subtotal -.01
7.0% tax .07
1.75% tax .07
Total .13

I got back $3.99 in ECB (spent $4 in ECB and .13 OOP).

I used the overage from the Softsoap and blink to make the skippy and Lipton free after ECB and coupons.

My store didn't have the folders. I also could only find 1 ruler. I left the 2 book covers on the shelves because they are the standard size ones and the jumbo are the only size that fits my kids high school books.

I agree that the softsoap deal is more than one. My receipt does not show Offer limit reached yet. I read on Hotcoupon world where someone has purchased 3 and still hasn't reached a limit. So I imagine its 5. Although my store only had about 5 on the shelf!
