Cvs weekly 6/14-6/20

I have to go to work tomorrow so will go through town and stop at the Maryland/Arcade store and see if they have any. I might be able to swing through W. St. Paul tomorrow too. I'll post if I find any at those stores.

I'm back - they don't have anything like this. They have a big display in the pharmacy for magnivision products and they have lens wipes that are $3.99, but I am pretty sure they wouldn't be included because all those products are for reading glasses. There are 3 tall circular sunglass displays, but all have sunglasses only, plus about 20 hanging card displays all over the store. Justin helped me look and he does a lot of stocking, has never seen anything like what I described.

However... I did find the Spiderman little boys' sunglasses on a hanging card in the summer aisle just in case you are interested for your grandson. They are the only $5.99 sunglasses that are reported to work for the deal, there are a few different styles - most have webs on the lenses, so are really cute. I didn't buy any, I just have a little neighbor boy and he'd have them demolished in no time.

RUN RUN RUN to CVS! HUGE money maker :cool1:

Just got back. Saw over on afullcup and iheartcvs that the lens cleaning tissues (and other glasses accessories) were working towards the Sunglass deal. It works!!!!!! The cloths are .99 so for $1.98 you get back $10 ECB for a $8.02 MM :thumbsup2 Too bad the limit is only 1 LOL.

Oh darn! I already did the deal. My DD14 was heading to Florida on Tuesday to spend a month with her grandma and aunt, so I told her I would buy her some sunglasses. Of course she picked the $17.99 pairs! I did convince her to find at least one pair that were $13.99 but I also let her get one of the $17.99 pairs. But this deal would have been SOOOO much better.

Maggie

Thanks Puffkin!! I'm dying to go out and look for them! Hope I can find them!

Sweet, I'm gonna look for those tomorrow!!

:worship:Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this.. I found them! Just got a 5 off 30 email and thought why bother, there is nothing good this week. Then I checked this thread.

Woohoo.. makes up for not being able to find the Neutragena deal a couple weeks ago. The glass wipes were attached on one of those plastic strips hanging on the side of the glasses display case. On the sunglasses, not the regular glasses. HTH someone..

I found the lens wipes but they were not called sun covers. The ones I found are StyleScience for $.99. The package is blue and silver with a pic of glasses on the front. The UPC is 83019005507. They were hanging on one of those plastic thingies(LOL) next to a single rack of sunglasses. Hope this helps someone out.

THANK YOU so much for posting the sunglasses wipes deal! :cool1::banana::dance3::yay: I also found them hanging on a plastic strip next to one of the the sunglasses displays. They were the grey/silver StyleScience. They were marked $7.99:scared1:, but rang up for .99cents each.

I can't believe I found them...I was really getting bummed a few weeks ago when I couldn't find any of the neutrogena sunblocks...but this more than makes up for it! :goodvibes

Thanks a bunch:woohoo:

I'm sure that $3/15 would work on any kind of Aveeno transaction - actually it will work on anything in the store if someone will scan it for you.

Thanks :goodvibes - I'm still formulating my plan of attack (LOL). It's been a good CVS day for me, first the lens wipes deal, and then I got a $4/20 in my e-mail! I am never lucky...maybe I should buy a lottery ticket?!?

Can I use the $4/20 together with the $3/15 in the same transaction? I don't want to goof something up.

Also, looking ahead to next week, do you all think that the $5 Coppertone IP will work on any type of Coppertone, or just the Nutrashield?

TIA!

Yes you can use them both in one transaction as long as your total is $20 before any coupons. To avoid problems or creative cashier interpretations, I'd hand over the 4/20 first, then the 3/15, and then any manu. coupons you have.

Only if your total is at least $35 before coupons and your store allows 2 to be used in 1 transaction. Read the coupon!

She needs to have $35 to use both of those coupons. At first stores would let people stack the $/$ coupons but now some stores will only allow 1 of that type of coupon per transaction.

I think she can use both at once. The 3/15 is for facial care products and the 4/20 is for the total purchase. It is the same as having a $/$$ coupon and a $2 excedrin cvs coupon. I have never had a problem using two coupons like this in the same transaction.

Hmm, I have to figure out what else I can do this week. I had 2 $4/$20 and a $10/$30. The $10/$30 printed when I was using my first $4/$20 and had to be used by today.

I end up with
2 Kotex pads
Act mouthwash (raincheck)
Oral B Floss
Titanium Razor
Dial Bodywash
2 pks Orbit gum
4 candy bars

Total with tax before all coupons was almost $35 after all my coupons I end up putting $6.xx on a gc (which was the $25 for transferring my prescription) and got back $9 ECB

The lady behind me was really impressed, the cashier however was a bit irritated because she couldn't figure out how to print my ECB for the raincheck.

Now I just have to figure out what all I want to do to use my last $4/$20 which expires tomorrow

I really wish these would have been on different cards, it would have made it so much simpler. However they are all on the same so I'm reaching my limit on several items.

I might be able to swing through W. St. Paul tomorrow too.

Hope you see this, just went there with my husband and daughter and we looked up and down every aisle and asked employees. No one has heard of them. They had 2 packages of the $3.99 magnivision lens tissues (21 individually wrapped) in a blue and silver package, but I didn't want to take a chance on them.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!

My store had tons of the .99 wipes by the sunglasses. Not only will actually be able to use these with DD4 but it was a MM!!!

I did this deal on my card using a $1 ECB. Then I decided it was too good to pass up so I did it on DH's card. So now I need to juggle two cards and ECB's. Not sure I am up for that challenge. His card has almost never been used. When I used the scanner for his card I got a $2 off Coppertone water babies that expires on Sunday so I guess it was meant to be!

Struck out at both my local stores for the lens wipes. I didn't even see a space for them on any of the sunglasses displays.

Oh well. Congrats to those that found this awesome deal!

If you couldn't find them in W. St. Paul, I won't head there today. It's not really on my way to work and I was just there on Wed.:rotfl2: so I'll just check at the Maryland store. I don't have high hopes if you haven't found them at the other stores. Thanks for saving me a trip over there today. :thumbsup2

I went to a CVS store by my work and struck out on the sunglass thing. I might try today at a few by my house.

So experts what is the amount of ECB's you like to have on your card? Since it only lasts a month I wasn't sure what goal amount would be good to keep on your balance at any given time.

I had $15 but when I went last week I bought 2 excedrins and more toothpaste. I used $10 ecb's paid a $1.77 cash and recieved back $8 in ecbs. So technically I only lost out on $2 ecbs and almost $2 in cash.

I think I am becoming obsessed with this (game) LOL. I don't want to put out to much cash upfront ($25 currently) but I want to have enough ecb's to really take advantage of the deals. On average how much do you all spend out of pocket for things per trip or per month? Thanks for answering my questions.

I don't like to get below $20 on my cards and find about $40 to be a comfortable amount to "roll" each month. I had well over $100 at the beginning of the year due to some fantastic sales and that was really, really difficult to manage.

I try not to spend more than $1 OOP on any transaction, but usually less than .50. I also try to always break even with my ECBs or come out ahead unless I absolutely need/want something.

For the year my OOP is about $10 on one card and $25 on another. Once you do this awhile and build a stash, you learn to walk away from a lot of good deals (example .75 for shampoo is a good deal, but since I have 30 bottles at home already, not a good deal for me!). It is very hard, but that is the way to keep your OOP down over time.
