Cvs weekly 5/29-6/5

You can!

But it's one of those instances where you have to hand them the coupons in a certain order. First the $1 coupon then the BOGO.

:idea:Yup! I do it all the time...but the order definitely matters. The $1 coupon has to go first. I usually try to do these deals on the weekends when the young college kids are working and they could care less about being a coupon nazi :rotfl:

Thanks!!:flower3:

I maxed out on Charmin on two cards. I got an email survey about shampoo for a $10 extra buck and we were getting low on TP. My family should love me for getting the good stuff after having to go through that free CVS earth-friendly stuff :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:I love free TP, but that stuff is awful, isn't it. We only have it in our upstairs bathrooms, I am embarassed to have it in the downstairs powder room that guests use. That bathroom has the good Cottonelle! Funny thing is we all sneak in and use the powder room for the good TP now instead of the other bathrooms  So sad :rolleyes1

Forgot to add, I am not even going to CVS this week. Nothing we need and no freebies. I don't have the Floss coupons or the ban coupons (used them up on prior deals). No other deals I could find....Well, I could do the BAN for 25 cent but I am not making a special trip for just that.

This is a GREAT week to do the Skin Care Deal at Rite Aid. Spend $50 get $25 back. Plus if you use your Wellness card you get a bonus $5 back on the deal. Most of the skin care is on sale for $3 off. The Nivea Men stuff counts for the skincare deal AND the spend $15 get $5 back Nivea Men deal! Lots and lots of coupons out there. If you have any of the $3.75 Vaseline infusions coupons (expired) they work great towards this deal too as that is on sale for $4.99. There are also $5/$25 coupons on redplum.com

So RiteAid takes expired coupons?

It has my vote for being even worse that the single rolls of Scott. Maybe it's earth friendly because you don't want to live on earth any more if you have to use this stuff :rotfl:

My CVS deal this week was the Lysol soap dispencer. On sale for $7.99. Used $3 off coupon from paper a few weeks back. Also had CVS coupon for $5 off (expired 5/16 but manager let me use it as they have been out of stock up until now). So I got it for free!:goodvibes

The OFF personal bug repellant fan thingy (so literate aren't I - you'd never know I have my BA in English Lit ) is on sale for $1 off. The online price is $8.99 with no sale so it should be $7.99 in the store. On the CVS website there is a printable coupon for $3 off - this is CVS store q. There is also a printable B1G1 q on the OFF website. Price after coupons should be $1.99 for 2. Not free :scared1: but DH is wanting to try it so I've to get it as cheap as I can and this is the best price I've found. :thumbsup2

Officially, I don't know. But I have never had a problem using them there...they scan right through and they NEVER check the expiration date.

Maybe I have to take a ride to the RiteAid's in Reading. The RiteAid nearest to me (Fogelsville), the cashier examines every coupon. Actually she rings up the item, and then immediately deducts the coupon. :confused3

Hmmmm.... I wonder if she used to work for Target, that's how they teach them to do it at our local target. They request that all coupons be presented up front then scan them as they scan the item.

I have had so many problems at Rite Aid with coupons that I called corporate several times. They got REAMED out by the district manager. I felt bad because I know they got in a lot of trouble, but they are so sweet to me now. That being said, I won't give them my coupons until they ring my whole transaction through. Now with the Wellness card ringing things up wonky, I like to see everything rung up before I hand over coupons. Then I pull my coupons out of my bag and hand them over. I refuse to give them first, I don't care what they say! I also try to avoid shopping there M-F during the day. They have the most miserable ladies working then. I prefer to take my chances with the college kids on the weekends :thumbsup2

Here is what I dreamt last night.

I was going to a class when they announced they were out of toilet paper. I said that I had a stash and went back to the house and grabbed a pack of Charmin (the tall, thin kind - not the boxy shaped pack). I carried it through the streets and back to the class while people were on the side of the road clapping and cheering. People fell in line behind me - kind of like the pied piper. We were quite the procession in the street.

I am NOT making this up. I REALLY did dream this. I think I need to stop CVSing for awhile. Thankfully I am going on vacation in a week. (not Disney, alas, but a cruise)

Have a blast! I wanted to do that for my daughter too, but the stinker can't get more than 4 free days in a row.
