CVS Weekly 4/26-5/2

Got a good run in last night...

i had about 3 of the $2 off 2 bags of cvs nuts so i got

7 bags of assorted cvs nuts, choc. covered mostly (used (3) /2.00 crts
1 lumene for 2.99 (used the 5.00 crt)
water 2.99
1.99 zooth toothbrush - used a b1g1
also used a 2/10 cvs purchase..

the girl made a mistake when she did the b1g1 i told her its 1.99 to deduct but she said no its 3.29 so i didn't say anything..

but anyway for all the above it came out to 1.50 so i had to pay Cash since i didn't have anything smaller than a 2.00ecb but i got back a 2.00 ecb so they paid me .50 for all the above.

i also have a 5.00crt for LUmene Premium - has anyone gotten this and tried it on the regular 2.99 lumene? curious if it works...

Yes, I used the $5 CRT on Lumene 2.99 cream and it worked great.

Has anyone tried using the 3M coupon on non-metal hooks? I went to 2 different CVS last night and only came up with 3 metal hooks. I am 39wks pregnant, fat, uncomfortable, and have to lug around an almost 3 year old. I am not running to any more CVS! I am getting pity looks b/c I look like I swallowed a whale.

did you crt say PREMIUM Lumene? i also used the $5 crt but it just said "Lumene" i now have two that say Premium????

Yes, I used the $5 CRT on Lumene 2.99 cream and it worked great.

Oooh, good point and I don't remember. I just checked my new CRT and it says ANY Lumene $3. Sorry, I am not sure about the PREMIUM part. Didn't mean to mislead you on that one.

Has anyone tried using the 3M coupon on non-metal hooks? I went to 2 different CVS last night and only came up with 3 metal hooks. I am 39wks pregnant, fat, uncomfortable, and have to lug around an almost 3 year old. I am not running to any more CVS! I am getting pity looks b/c I look like I swallowed a whale.

I bought some other kinds, but since the coupon was not the $2.50 you get for the metal hooks, they didn't come out free. But I needed the ones I bought so still a great deal.

Hi there! Just checking in - hmillerbarilla thinks I need to get back on the CVS bandwagon. At least I haven't been letting my ECBs expire!

They're building a CVS by the grocery store I go to every Wednesday - it's right next to the el train station, so I'm very excited!

All I think I'm buying this week are the DSW gift cards, as I need new shoes and I also have a $5 coupon from DSW for my birthday. Too bad I can't purchase the GCs with ECBs, right?

I think it is 2 queens. I figured DH & I could sleep with DS (or put him on the floor... but he's really still so little) and Auntie (smiller) could sleep with DD. Luckily, my DH is super cool with hanging around with smiller. they get along nicely. THANK GOODNESS!

I don't need the kitchen for 5 nights. The only kitchen activity I plan on is opening my bottle of chardonnay.

I know nothing about the owner's lockers. how much is it??? I think the other CVS people might think I'm weird talking about NON-CVS stuff. You all already know I'm weird. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE ADVICE!!!!!!!

I think the premium CRT works for the cream, haven't heard on the wipes. Mine was $3 instead of $5... they've figured me out, lol.

Yes, i used them on both kinds without a problem.

Yes, I used the $5 CRT on Lumene 2.99 cream and it worked great.

I also used it on the 2.99 wipes! And it was for Lumene Premium.

I just deposited 2 RA checks in my bank last week. Also RA will cash the checks for you in their store. At least that is how the one I used in MD did it. Did not matter if I was going to buy anything or not. If they tell you no ask for a manager if you still get no call corporate in front of them. They will stop you before the call goes through and cas the check for you.

Thanks. That's good to know about doing it at the store if I have to. I'm going to try depositing the RA check at a different branch. It's just a pain cuz that branch is the most convenient. I think if something is said I'm going to point out the obvious routing number and account number. I mean checks go thru an electronic system now adays to authenticate anyway.

I did the hooks deal, but none of my coupons would scan. I did print them original size and shrink them, but nothing. Did it on both cards....


Today I used the $2 off 2 nuts for the bigger packs of trail mix.. They were on sale 2 for $3... So $1 for two bags in those sizes wasn't bad. I'm stocking up for summer snacks.

The first couple stores only had 2 metal hooks per store, but the last one had a boatload... Maybe people got to the other stores before me

I have a few of the SC Johnson books from Publix and the coupons look pretty good for the $5 ECB deal this week... I was going to wait until Sat, but I'm afraid they'll take the tags down and I won't get the right stuff...So I may go tomorrow

It wasn't me , I was able to get 2 at the Edgewood store but that is it. (on a side note they would not let me use the rimmel Q here!) I did get 2 plastic ones, might buy some more of the plastic ones if I cannot find anymore metal and use the 1.50Q, so only $1 MM.

For all those get the $2/2 nuts CRT, the caramel nut clusters candy & peanut clusters also work for free, in case you want something besides nuts/trail mix only. free candy!

If your store does not have a price scanner, how do you still receive coupons (like for the free nuts?). I have never had a coupon print out after a purchase; is this normal?

Did they deny the Rimmel because of the Walmart wording? People on other sites are saying they cut the coupon in half to remove the red lettering. I would think that would make cashiers suspicious because they don't know if it's a free coupon or a BOGO, etc. because it just says max value of $6.47, but it is coded as free so the register just prompts for the amount.

This might sound confusing so forgive me in advance...

After owning and using an Extra Card Card for a while, usually about 2 months, coupons (CRTs) will start printing on your receipt. They usually begin on Mondays and print on your first two receipts of the week. Not everyone gets the same coupons. If your store has a scanner, you can get all of those coupons meant for you at one time by repeatedly scanning your card until the machine says "no more coupons, try again tomorrow" (or something like that).

The scanners give 1-3 additional coupons that won't print on receipts and everyone who scans their card at a scanner that prints gets these coupons. These print right before the "no more coupons" message. The $2/2 Gold Emblem nuts is one of those coupons, no one gets that without having a scanner available.

The scanner will sometimes give an additional $/$$ special coupon on Thursday-Saturday. It's usually near a holiday.

I figured it was Stitchlovestink or the other lady from afullcup that hits the stores here. I have only been to the Edgewood store once - does that one have a scanner? DH works at EPG but I rarely make it over that way.

I got a $2/2nuts and a $2/10 CVS today and used the nuts one on 2 Caramel Nut clusters (for DH) and then used the CVS one on some hand sanitizer on clearance and some CVS Ibuprofen. I hadn't planned to buy either one but those are things we can always use.
