I did a quick mental count of what all of the free items that I want will cost on Thanksgiving Day and it is around $53 if I get everything. This does not include any coupons. Since I have around $44 in ECB and gift cards, I figure I can get everything except the Universal remote and Cepecol lozenges, which are low on my priority list. Once I figure in coupons, I might be able to get the lozenges.

Then I am going to use some of the ECB to buy a Pillow Pet Pee Wee and 2 Eggies for Christmas gifts and get back $10 Gift card (from the spend $30 get $10 deal).

I am going to go through my coupons and make exact calculations this weekend.

I just want to say (and I know it's corny) but this Thanksgiving I'm truly thankful for Flakypuff and MaggieW.

Because of this thread, I'm averaging a 78% savings at CVS. AMAZING. I've kept a record of what I've spent / saved / coupons / extra care bucks. When you put a little effort into shopping, it truly pays off.

You have saved me and my family ALOT of money and for that I'm truly thankful and grateful. I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving !!!!

And I have to say, I'm SOOOO excited to get to CVS Thanksgiving morning!! I've got my CVS card (and only MY CVS card!! ) and my spreadsheet broken out into transactions. it's going to be tense but fun !!! (might have to drag my DH with me !!)

I don't know if it will show up in the right columns? The first column is the name of the product. The second column is the limit. The 3rd column is the cost of the item. The fourth column is any coupons available. The fifth column is the ECB received.

I have worked it out so I spend just under $43 (which I will pay with my $43 in ECB and gift cards) and I will get back $56.48.

I plan to spend $30 of those ECB on the Spend $30 get $10 gift card deal for Pillow Pet PeeWees and 2 As Seen on TV Eggies. I should still leave the store with $26.48 in ECB and a $10 Gift Card that I can use to roll next week.

Maggie, thanks for the list! I have a gift card and quite a few ECB's to roll over too. And I am usually there early on Thanksgiving because we drive past CVS to get to the town most of my family live in. Its about 100 miles away so we hit the road pretty early. My husband is used to having to stop at CVS on the way!

For anyone who does Rite Aid, our store manager warned me about a change to the + Ups coming in January. They are trying to discourage people who use multiple transactions to avoid OOP. So the + Ups will not be good until the business day after they are printed. I was behind a lady who bought her four free toothpastes in four transactions a few weeks ago so I guess I can understand why they are doing it. Not a big deal to me since I do only one shopping trip a week but I know some of you do multiple transactions to keep the OOP costs down so I thought I would share.

I think it says that sometimes when it has been printed up to the total they had set for that particular campaign.
