CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 8/31-9/6

Got to CVS at 8 am, knew I needed plenty of time, but I had my game plan written down with coupons in matching order of how i was going to use them....
1st transcationurchased 2 of the neutrogena lipsticks in FABULOUS colors at $5.99 each. Used $3 off neutrogena coupon, and $5 in ECBs, total OOP is $4.40, but actually, none, I put it on my CVS giftcard that was free with transferred prescription and got $6 in ECBs for the Neutrogena

Thanks for the heads-up about the Neutrogena lip colors. I hadn't noticed that deal, but it is a good one with the coupons! (Hope I have some of those in my coupon file!

does anyone know the number to call CVS about mising ECBS? I just noticed that I didnt get both of them for both of my Colgate purchases? I only got one.

The number on the back of the card, I think. 1-800-746-7287. Did you buy the same size/variety of Colgate? I think it only applied to a really specific type. (It wasn't marked in either store that I visited, so I was holding the ad up to the shelf trying to figure it out!)

I'm irritated today because I couldn't find a lip color BOGOFree at CVS. They were all marked Buy one, Get one 50% off. I thought I found the right one from the ad, but it rang up 50% off, and I was really too tired to argue. After the BOGO coupon and $1 off, I paid $2.50 for the two lipsticks, so I'll live with it. Oh, and my CVS decided to stop taking internet printed coupons after the Vyrl Mktg scandal. (But of course they don't put up a sign about it, just tell you when you try to use the coupons after everything is rung up.) Sad to say, I don't heart CVS today.

If I have time tomorrow I am heading back to cvs for the 22c bars and the flavoriceat least .DD & I both hit the 75% off sale she got goggles, a pool,water bottles, and I got splash balls & fans! I also want to try that nail glue deal where they are $1.99 each you buy 2 and get $5 ecb! If it don't work I'll return them!! Heck they can be stocking stuffers!!

Hello. Hope this was not posted. I heart CVS posted this moneymaker today. Fla-vor-ice giant pops 48 count, originally 14.99, get 5.00 ECB back. limit 5. This is on summer clearance, 75% off, so it rang up only 3.75. I found about 5 boxes in the clearance isle, but only took one as I was unsure this was going to work. It worked! 5.00 ECB back. 1.25 profit! Unfortunately, my box leaked all over me on the way to the car, so I had to exchange it. After that exit, I did not get anymore boxes, but I may go back tomorrow.

Those boxes of flavorice are huge! I went to 3 different stores today and none of them are marked for clearance. I may go back tomorrow and beg a store manager to mark them down. One of the stores had 6+ boxes on the shelf.

Well darn. I bought the Washington Post and no CG coupons. Stitch does the Baltimore Sun have better coupons. I am going to look tomorrow for any leftover Sunday Baltimore Suns.

I got the free cotton swabs too. There was also a coupon for $3 off Claritin Chewables and $3 off Playskool mega pack diapers.

I didn't get anything yet. I did get a postcard in the mail on Tuesday, though, for 25% off my entire in-store purchase on either 9/13/08 or 9/14/08. I'm dying for the 9/14 ad to come out so I can see what I want!

Anyone know how do returns work w/ ECB's? I also got gyped Sunday when the cashier didn't scan my BOGO CG coupon. It rang up B150% and she changed it to full price, but then the coupon didn't come off. I want to keep the one free w/ ECB and just return the other one that was $5.99 since I paid for 2, but I used ECB's and had a $2 off $10 coupon.

The nail glues worked for me yesterday. At one store I found 2 that had a bonus glue and those worked too.

They should do the return as normal and put amount on to a CVS money card (gift card). You should NOT be penalized for Q's or ECB's. I will sometimes return items w/o a receipt just to avoid the confrontation of how to make the return but I have never had an issue at CVS doing returns with or without one.

A couple questions -

Are the Special K bars marked clearance in your stores, or do they just ring up? They're not marked in my stores so I've been hesitating. Which ones are they exactly?

Also, I received a $5 off any Skin Effects product and $2.00 off any Cristophe Hair Care product - any ideas what I should do with them?
