All information is compiled from various sources - other forums, friends, family, personal experience, and the actual ads themselves. My location is in central MA as well as others are country wide, so keep this in mind when reading posts and be sure to confirm your local ad as well before actual shopping. Happy ECB'ing!

Thanks Sally!! I posted to you wayyyyyyy down below! I think it may be on page 2 at this point! LOL

Ooooh Hershey bars for DH again

i have two coupons from heartbeat booklets so I'll get 5/$3 to start with and then $2 in ECB

$2.77 ECB Colgate Max Fresh Burst Toothpaste 4 oz. $2.77 (limit 5)

I bought one of these last week got my ECB, but on the summary it says that reached the limit on that offer. Was anyone else able to get more than one? I've got coupons ready to go if I can get 4 more. Thanks in advance

Thanks for posting this.

I did notice that Huggies mega packs will be $12.99. I wonder if that includes the supreme ones.

If so, I'm going to buy as many as I can because I have $3 coupons for each pack then I am going to use my 10/50 and 4/20 coupons and my ECB's to bring my total down as much as I can.

I think the colgate max fresh is both a monthly deal (limit 1) and a weekly deal for this week only (limit 5). At least thats my take. They've done this before by the way...silly CVS!

Kudos Sally! You got this up WAY early.

Here is a link to printable coupons for the $5 ecb wyb $10 worth of the "medicinal" products.

http://www.valuesforhealth.com/page.jhtml?id=/valuesforhealth/include/2_0.inc#

Here is a link for a MIR for $5 back when you buy any 3 participating products:

http://www.valuesforhealth.com/docs/winterize_rebate.pdf

Now this is a deal from this winter but the rebate doesn't expire until the end of July. I'm always leary about MIR and usually don't include the rebate into the purchase price. I'll "try" them in cases like these where I'm getting an AWESOME deal regardless of whether or not the rebate actually comes thru!

Buy 4 Motrin IB @ 2.50 ea
-1.00 Manufactures Q x 4
-5.00 Ecb

Balance: $1 for 4 bottles of motrin (and that doesn't even calculate in the value of a $4/20 Q!) And assuming the rebate gets mailed back...you spend 0.41 on postage...total balance would be 1.41 -5.00 = -3.59! You made money.

Yeah that medicine deal may be good i hav a bunch of $1 st josephs so i may do tis for the heck of it, altho we relaly dont need anymore medicine, i think the fbi or dea will show up at my house one day.>LOL

As of now I don't see too much of interest :confused3 My closet is full of all the body wash, shampoo, razors, ect...a family could use! I hope that when I have the ad in my hot little hands I'll get inspired!

The way I figure it, I don't have too many hours to dedicate to CVS once school starts. So, I'll stock up now "in case" for later and if I still have excess, I'll be throwing together some nice gift baskets for christmas gifts. My oop never exceeds $20 per week and the last two weeks, my balance (oop+rolled Ecbs-unused Ecbs) will be less than $10 (and in the negative this week).

I get that way quite frequently. No really don't need more toothpaste but if I use that to boost me to 20 then I can use a $/$ coupon, etc. So once people start posting the different combinations of sales & I already have the Q's, sometimes it will get me into things.

I do the same thing. When I see things that I can use towards making gift baskets I stock them away in my closet for those times I need to put something together.

Ooooh Hershey bars for DH again

WOW is your heartbeat book different? Mine states $1/2 but only the large bars @ 3.52 oz and the sale is on the 5oz extra large bars. I'm still doing this deal but I sure would like your Qs!!:goodvibes

Okay..think I "might" have found another good deal! The Glucerna is buy one pack of shakes, get the bars for free. There is a CVS Q in the HB booklet for $1 off any shake. You can go here and print 2 Q's for 1.25 off any glucerna product! Use them all at once (one manu. Q for the shakes, one for the free bars) and your oop should be fairly low..and it would count towards the nutrition deal!

The shakes run aprox 8.99 and you can get a 4 pack meal bars (6.29 value) free.

8.99 Shakes
6.29 Meal Bars (4 Pack)
-1.00 Cvs Q
-1.25 Manu Q
-1.25 Manu Q
-6.29 Free Bars
= 5.49 oop and 8.99 credited towards your nutrition deal

Not terrible! Thats making assumptions on the prices..it could be less.

Hang on a sec...let me check the ad description again....

Ok my eyes decieved me...Thought the hersheys was the extra dark ones (coupon is for the extra darks....My bad...

What are the heartbeat books and how do I get one? You guys have me totally hooked on this CVS thing!!

They are little booklets generally found near/at the pharmacy that have CVS coupons in them. They can be paired up with mfg coupons for additional savings. Not all areas have them though. I got mine through someone on the boards.

The pharmacist gave me a Heartbeat book today and I was just in my glory. (I know, it's the little things for me!!! LOL) They had a Bayer coupon in there and I had a manufacture coupon for it also! I want to make atleast one more trip back there this week.

Oh, with the TON (and I mean that literally) of bodywash, shampoo, soap, etc... that I have, I plan on doing some gift baskets around the holidays for friends and family members. I figure that will pretty much deplete my supplies, so I will continue to stock up especially since I have not spent that much moeny at all on all of it. =)

I also noticed heartbeat booklets hanging in a plastic box off of the rack that holds the cvs flyers. Strange place to put it. Would never look for it in such an obvious place!:lmao:

Some really good CRTs are popping up that can be applied to this weeks sales!

$3 off any Oral care purchase of $12 or more
(Colgate Max Burst @ 2.77, free after ECB, Limit 5)

2.50 off any pain relief purchase of $10
($5ecb wyb $10 worth of medicines pictured on back page, inlcluding motrin, st. Josephs, and tylenol)

$3 off any neutragena product
($1 off neutragena spa products)

I also got excited about the $2 off Ensure 6 pack CRT but that applies to the prior weeks sales: 6.99 - $2 CRT-$3 manu Q = 1.99 and 6.99 credited towards the nutrition deal. I've already managed to do this deal twice.

One thing I'd like to clarify would if it is permissible to use an ECB and a CVS coupon (such as $5.00 off any $20.00 purchase) on the same transaction, AND manufacturers coupons?

Example..

Bill total 22.00 (minus $10.00 ECB)= $12.00 (minus $5.00 CVS coupon)=$7.00 (minus $4.00 in assorted manufacturers coupons)= $3.00 cash OOP.

Is that the gist of utilizing CVS coupons, ECBs, and manufacturers coupons all at once?

Thanks!!!!

Yep! I've done it.
