CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 6/24-6/30

Anyone have a problem tryign to use the recent $25 prescription coupon? My mom tried to use it today and the code wouldn't work and they wouldn't give her a gift card, but told her if she found a valid one, bring it back in and they'd honor it with that filled prescription.

I was told that too by one of my stores (actually, they said 2pm), who already had their sale signs up. It was like 5 or 6pm and not only did the sale prices not ring, the ECBs didn't generate either!

I have heard that the sales prices start at 5 or 6 pm on Saturday, but you won't earn ECB until Sunday. So if you are trying to get the eCB, wait until Sun. But if you just want the sale price of something, you can do that Sat.

I have gotten the next week's sale prices at my store on Saturday night. But I haven't been there on a Sat. night since they started the instant ECB. I have heard that they have started doing the sale prices on Sunday now because of the problem with instant ECB printing on Sat for the sales starting Sun. But, as I said, I haven't been to my store on a Sat. night since the new instant ECB to try it out myself.

The way things vary store to store with CVS I would not take it for granted that they activate the sale prices for the following week at a specific time on Sat. I am not sure if it is a store generated thing that they have to do to their computers or a corporate thing but sometimes the prices are activated on Sat. nights early other times after 7/8 at night. And if things ring up at the current prices I am hesitant to return right away too so it's just a PITA in my opinion. I have gotten the next weeks sales prices but never an early ECB so who really knows I have enough trouble keeping my weeks straight, I wouldn't want to overlap and confuse myself! I wish all the stores would start their sales on the SAME day!!!

Could she just have had an inexperienced clerk? I get the same guy everytime I have used it and EVERY time although he is great about taking it, just cannot get the STUPID thing to ring through and he has to ask for help every single time!!! Some clerks try to ring the card through like a coupon instead of ringing up the GC like she is buying it and paying for it and then entering in the coupon code AFTER the GC has been added to the transaction which then takes the prices off of the transaction. I think it causes alot of confusion with the cashiers.

Nope, it's one of the ones who has been there a long time. I think she was the one who did our free gift cards last time too.

Poor cashier...she dropped one of my coupons and couldn't find it. Looked EVERYWHERE and finally found it. I could tell she felt bad, but luckily the store was empty, so we weren't holding up the line. I even told her that if she couldn't find it, I could probably tell her what it was for!
I was discombobulated after that, so I forgot to give her an ECB I already had.

I just got off the phone with corporate and was told something REALLY strange. I purchased 3 RGX sprays the other day and didn't receive my Ecbs (which corporate HAD confirmed are limit 5). Well, she said they were having problems and that she could credit me with one but with monthly deals "Limit 5 means you can only get one free each week. If you want to go back next week, you can one more for free then. If you read the ad thats what it says, limit 5 one per week." WHAT???????????? Anyone else hear this? New policy, or am I out of the loop, or is she on crack?

Using this coupon on an ECB sale is very limited and up to your store. Most will not allow it! If your store puts it through count your blessings.
